This is soooo easy to use! And soooo fast! I was used to slow back-ups that took forever if I didn't back up at least once every day (as we all should). The Kioxia takes only minutes at most. If I haven't entered much data or many photos since the last backup it takes only seconds. If I keep the Kioxia connected it backs up automatically every hour, seamlessly. I don't know if it does this with all computers; you'll need to check whether yours also does this. For security, I encrypt my backups. That's easy, too. You'll see the option to set that up at the first use. Once you do that, each following time you use the drive you'll enter your password, so be sure to use one that you won't forget but that no one else can guess easily. No birthdates, no sequential numbers like 12345, no sequential letters like ABCDE, etc. For those looking for help with that, the Internet has plenty of advice on how to choose suitable passwords.

Working fine but its a bit slow

attached it to my computer (windows 11) and the machine froze, my C drive and the attached drive where at 100% for more than 5 minutes, but showed no data transfer. Had to reboot my machine to get it working again. Reformatted the external drive, tried again, same result.

Very disappointed with This product it heated up and disconnected many times I was using this to edit off and it disconnected whilst in the middle of editing projects or when trying to export projects. I have sent it back to manufacturer under the warranty still waiting for replacement no idea if the warranty product will be any good? Lost money on this stick to established brands
