Bear-approved and built to last (if your dog can lift it!)
If you have a heavy chewer, you know how hard it is to find anything that actually lasts. I picked up this XL Elk Antler for Bear, my 60-pound female Goldendoodle, and it’s been a huge hit. The quality is definitely there—it’s a solid, heavy piece and doesn't have any of that weird "bone smell" that some other natural chews have. One thing to keep in mind is the weight. Because it’s an XL, it’s actually pretty heavy, and I’ve noticed Bear sometimes struggles just to pick the thing up and move it around. I’ll probably go with a Large next time just to make it a little easier for her to handle, but for pure durability, you can't beat it. • No mess or odor • Keeps heavy chewers busy for hours • Very high-quality, dense antler Verdict: 5 stars. It’s a bit of an investment, but worth it for a chew that actually stands up to a determined Goldendoodle.

Awesome!!!
These are the best Antlers I have found for my dogs within a reasoble price range. I purchased 2 of them and both were very large and thick Antlers. Once I gave them to my dogs they chewed on them literally for hours until I took them away. Same the second time. I Will definitely be purchasing these again. First set holding up well and I know what to give them if I want to keep them occupied for a while

Not messy, lasts a long time, and my dog LOVES them
Wonderful product. My chew-loving boy latched onto the antler as soon as I handed it to him. He then kept it with him almost all the time until it got too small and I had to take it away so he wouldn’t eat it whole, as the instructions said to do. It took him about five weeks to get to that point, though he worked on it every day. He would, upon occasion, let his beloved little sister gnaw on it, but he would watch her the whole time. I ordered another one for him when I saw the antler getting too short so he wouldn’t have to go long without. The seller sent me a nice email making sure I liked their product and advising me to clean off the antler when it wasn’t being used to keep the bacteria down. Nice recommendation but it didn’t apply to my situation since my big boy would take the antler with him everywhere he went. I found no crumbs or other messes left behind, and our dog beds, blankets, and toys got a reprieve from chewing destruction. I researched whether antlers are safe, and though some veterinarians mentioned broken teeth, I came to the conclusion from my research that so long as the dog is “chiseling“ the antler rather than chomping down, trying to break it in half, it seems to be a safe product. My dog was treating it the same as a sculptor does marble. So, I felt it was safe for him. I wouldn’t recommend it for older dogs who might have weaker teeth. Good thing my 15-year-old miniature dachshund wasn’t interested in it, not that he could have gotten it away from my big boy. All in all, I highly recommend this product. I suppose at some point I’ll quit re-ordering it, but I don’t know when that will be.

Extreme chewer approved, time limits may help durability
My dog loved it!!! The giant was huge! He would gnaw at it all day. I would have to take it away from him at times. He is a pitbull, and an extreme chewer. He put in major work in 10 days (photo for reference). Yes, it’s on the pricy side, but so enriching and satisfying. Didn’t last him very long, but if I limit his chew time it would last a lot longer.

Good size, pricing off
Got the giant, they are pretty big. Only downside is the advertised pricing. I bought two, they weighed 11.4oz and 14.0oz. If you average those and do the math, the real price/lb for me was roughly $57.95, not the $46 or so advertised. I understand antlers are all different, just noting both of mine were significantly less weight than priced on here.

Impressed
At first, I was a bit hesitant because of the cost. However, my dogs absolutely love this bone! It is a great size and it should last a while.

Good or bad depending which piece you happen to get
Two antlers arrived this morning and with in 5 minutes one was already not safe to chew because my dog was able to break pieces off and swallow them. I have been buying these for years, they usually last a month before they're too short for me to feel comfortable with them chewing since it can be a choking hazard when they are short enough to fit the entire antler in their mouth. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Saint Bernard. This time that I bought them, I am very disappointed. One arrived looking as it normally does, a dark brown long antler. The second one was shorter, thicker, white, and you could see all these tiny holes in the large ends of the antler. I see these holes on the inside of the antlers, which is why I never get split antlers, this part of the antler is so easy to chew. I don't understand why I would be given a large white chunk of antler that is mostly this easy to chew material. These are expensive for it to not be safe to be chewed. And they are not returnable so I just wasted $35.

Very Dangerous for dogs
I bought these antlers and 2 days later they are almost all gone. Now my dog is at the vet because she swallowed a piece of the antler. Real antlers shouldn’t dissolve like that! Buyers beware!!

Small antlers
Smaller than what i thought. Not as long lasting as the ones I usually buy
