This is the best RGB/Bi-Color tube light you can get for under $150. Its 2 feet long, its really bright, has full spectrum colors, physical controls and a really good app, good built-in battery life, accurate daylight and tungsten colors, and comes with a little tripod stand, bag and power adapter. I've been using this light for a few weeks and I love the versatility. I has effects like police siren, fire truck siren, flickering fire, tv, lightning and more and you can adjust the intensity and frequency of each effect in the app. I've used this as a background light to provide some color and its also powerful enough to use as a key light as well. The app gives you fine grain control over the colors and you can group them if you have more than one. It connects quickly and the app is reliable which is great when you need to control it remotely. The only critiques I have are the following: * The only mounting option is the 1/4 20 screw holes at the ends of the light which is fine if you're rigging it upright using the included tripod or on a stand, but if you want to use it horizontally like that, you'd better hope that it doesn't break off. I tried rigging it this way and was very surprised that it held up well and didn't show any signs of wear or bending/flexing; this is mostly likely due to their new reinforced "top tripod socket" in the 2021 units. However, it would be better if Sutefoto would've included different mounting options like a custom clamp, similar to the ones that brands like Godox, Nanlite, Quasar, etc. have for their tubes, which by the way, do not work with this tube light because its too big, even though the specs show the diameter is the same, it wont fit. So for now, I'm using mini cardelinis rigged on a C stand, however I will be looking for other mounting/rigging options as well. * I wish Sutefoto would make modifiers for this light like the other brands do for theirs and actually, I'm happy to report that the grid for the Godox TL60 works almost perfectly with this Sutefoto tube light. It takes a little bit of finessing but it will fit and shape the light very nicely. If Sutefoto would make some accessories for this light it would make it even more useful and professional. * A 4' version of this light would be awesome, but in the meantime you can use a 1/4 20 coupler and screw two of these lights together and get a 4' light! Sure, it's not quite perfect, but if you need it, you can do it. In fact, you could probably screw on a few of these and get an even longer light, although again, you'd really have to be careful how you rig it, even standing upright. * It would be great if this light could be powered via USB C so you could use a power bank on long shoots where there is no power outlet. The battery life is good, but having this option seems like a no brainer since there are cheaper tube/wand lights that have this feature. * I really wish that the carrying bag they provide had space for the mini tripod and power adapter! Its so annoying having these items separate because you can easily forget them and/or lose them. The bag should have a pocket for these items or at the very least, be a bit longer so they can fit inside with the light. Despite these critiques however, this light is an incredible value and a very capable tool that should definitely be a part of your lighting kit. I very highly recommend this light.

I have been using this light for a good couple of months now, i use it to light up my setup, i do it for product shots and videos this light can absolutely do it all, its nice and bright when it needs to be and you can dim it just right to get the perfect exposure just by a push of a button. its a highly impressive light and a light that i would highly recommend for anyone thats just starting out and wanting to improve their content. This light is very compact and you can carry it around aswell it comes with a sling like ish bag that you can put on an carry around with you at ease. the light also comes with some nice effects and presets thats build into it. the color variations are super impressive aswell. the battery life is super solid aswell one of the reasons why this light is just amazing. stop thinking about it just get this light!!!!!

Sutefoto TP25 Love this light! I have been using led lights in my photography and video productions for well over 10 years and I have been really pleased with their performance. Recently, I bought some “square” form factor RGB lights and noticed that the intensity is greater towards the center. To eliminate that, you need to pull the lights farther away from your subject (whether human or object) but that reduces your light intensity and then you have to increase your ISO to accommodate the lower light. I laughed a few years ago when I saw the light wands on the market and thought it was gimmicky. But recently, took another look at them and decided to give them a try. Much to my surprise, these things are awesome. The design eliminates the hot spot in the center and smooths out the light for a much more natural look. I have noticed that alot of images online have a harsh – very direct light which results in an unnatural effect. With these Sutefoto wands, you can create very subtle light that looks more natural while still illuminating the subject. I also like the fact that the entire length (minus the end caps) provide illumination with no bright spots. These lights create an even-smooth light through the entire length. Many wand lights on the market have a handle design which allows for only about 16” of light, whereas the Sutefoto TP25 has light for 22.5”. Pros: Read above Cons: The FX mode starts at 10%, and that doesn’t sound like much, but these things are so bright, it is difficult to set a low ambiance set. I need to figure out a way to diffuse the light even more than the white diffuser that is inside the light. While the backlit screen is large enough for the adjustments, the characters are way too small. There is enough screen real estate to have larger numbers. This would be an easy firmware upgrade if they can do that. Recommendations to Manufacturer: Would be nice for future versions to have a separate button that has dedicated primary colors. Thinking Red, Green, Blue (at least) Also be able to display multiple colors at the same time, however I haven’t given this much thought, they do accomplish this with Red and Blue in one of their FX effects where half is red and half is blue, but that is flashing only. Firmware upgrade capability would be nice. The light can be controlled via Bluetooth, so it would be cool if they could provide a firmware upgrade via Bluetooth. Increase the size of the text on the control screen. It would be good if the battery was able to be user changed. Most rechargeable batteries have a life of 3-5 years, which means that when it’s battery reaches end of life, the light will become useless. So maybe they have batteries available and maybe they have a disconnect connection inside, but I didn’t take mine apart to see. Conclusion – Suggestion: I will be producing a video on our acepics channel in the near future for even more details about this awesome light. While I currently do not have an affiliate arrangement with the manufacturer or with Amazon, I strongly recommend this product to add to your equipment list. In fact it would be good to have more than one!

I've been using Sutefoto's lights since 2021, and I have no complaints whatsoever. The lights are built to last, they use good materials, that feel strong and sturdy. Focusing on the actual TP-25, it is a great addition to my lighting setup. I own it's predecessor, the T360, which is also great, but the newer TP25 is something else. Bigger, lighter, brighter! Another feature that really stood out was how good the diffusion is on the TP25, you can't see the individual LEDs at all. If I were to buy another RGB wand, it would be a second TP25, I feel like it is the perfect spec, with noticeable improvements over the T360, while not leaving any "I need more" gaps.

I currently own 3 different sets of RGB lights, counting a set of 4 of these lights, and I have to say, as far as ease of use, color, features, and functionality, these are my favorite. POWER PROS & CONS: My other lights all require a battery to operate, which isn't a problem. As a professional film and television producer, I expect to add batteries to my lights, however, I found it to be very convenient to simply grab these lights and turn them on. The obvious drawback of having an internal battery that can't be swapped is, when the power runs down you either have to plug it up are charge it before you can use it again. This is the only reason I didn't give this light 5 stars. I'd like to see an upgrade that allows for the internal battery to be swapped with a charged one. RANGE OF COLOR & WHITE COLOR TEMPERATURE: For the price, I haven't found ANY other lights that offer the range of color or white color temperature range that these lights do. For white color temperature, you get a range of 2800K-10000K, while most at this price give you a range of 3200K - 5600K. Having the extra color temperature range allows you to match with practically any white lights, including true tungsten. On the RGB side, you are able to easily match any RGB color, especially if you have the hexadecimal color code or RGB code. CONTROLE: Be advised that this light does NOT come with its own remote control, however, the mobile app that comes with it will allow you to control the light using a smartphone or tablet. The app makes using the light extremely easy and user-friendly. With the app, you can quickly change the color, white color temperature, and set effects. One thing that I really liked about using the app is the effects are labeled, making it very simple to find a certain effect. Using the app, you can also input the hexadecimal color code to set the light to a specific color. There are also controls and an LCD screen on the back of the light that allows you to make adjustments to the light, similar to the app, however, I found using the controls on the back more time-consuming and not as easy to use as the app. EFFECTS The effects on this light are VERY nice, and you have a nice range of control over the effects, allowing you to customize them to suit your needs. The light has a 1/4 screw hole at the top and bottom, which gives you mounting options that some other lights in this price range do not. Additionally, the light comes with attachable feet so that, even without a light stand you are able to stand the light up. I will be posting a demo video in the near future of this light.

The customer service is great & the shipping is very fast; i gotten my sutephoto RGB light n 2 days! This RGB tube light will do wonders during my photo sessions. It came fully charged. The buttons on the light are self explanatory but it comes with a manual to learn more about it. You can even download the app to control the light which i find very helpful and seems much easier than using the settings on the actual equipment piece. The casing is very sturdy and can stand bumps if it happens to get knocked over. It also comes with a small tripod to attach so you make the light stand up. It is indeed very bright at 100% brightness and you can adjust the brightness to your liking. It also have light various light effects great for doing video or creating content. Very nice,very happy ! I look forward to purchasing more from this brand.

Very pleased with this light wand! I've been using this for about a month and am very impressed. I've tested these out in both photography and video settings. The light wand allows provides a great spread of light. It also gives me more creative control of light to set moods, backdrops, focused light and more. The option to power the light via the power adapter or charge it and take it to a remote location is a significant plus. I used it for a video shoot in about 20º weather with no issue. I also love controlling brightness, saturation, FX and color range via the Bluetooth app. It comes in handy when setting up the light away from me. I have a second light by Sutefoto that I can control as well. Very cool! Some of the extras that I like are the 1/4 threads on both ends making it easy to mount to any tripod. The carrying case is very handy for carrying it anywhere. Definitely two enthusiastic thumbs up!

The Sutefoto TP25 doesn't dissapoint! Pros: *** Cannot see LED diodes in footage*** Finally!! The diodes are diffused to provide a solid bar of colour -Comes with a tripod - and the tripod has rubber feet which is a huge bonus. It can also double as a handle -360 degree colour selection -App controlled and although basic, it's provides multiple options to manipulate the light to specific shades and brightnesses -Solidly built, and not overly heavy, with carrying case Cons: -I'd prefer usb C charging rather than DC. Really it's just the want to cut down on power cords for my gear bags, and the ability to power off of battery banks. -A benefit would be being able to turn the light on and off within the app. -It's not available in Canada (yet). Please… The Sutefoto TP-25 is an exception piece of equipment for film. The diodes are diffused and spread the light spectrum across the frosted glass, making it so you can't see any dots or diodes within the light in your footage. The battery life is outstanding, lasted through over 3 hours of filming at 75% on another project. The TP25 offers 360 degree color pallets of your choice with a plethora of options such as color warmth, various lighting effects, and dimming. Standard 1/4 inch female threaded fittings on both ends to use with stands, booms, cages, etc. Perfect for YT, Podcasts with video, Twitch streams, and anything with film. It works great with my YT set, so I bought 2! Sutefoto, please drop a large shipment in to Canada! We need more of these accessible without import fees and large shipping rates!
