Question 1

Will this work with local wifi and smart device..with NO internet ?? Direct via wifi to app ??.... no cloud service mandatory... off grid use ??

Accepted Answer

Yes, it can work with local wifi with NO internet. Please refer to https://www.iammeter.com/docs/local-monitoring. You can also upload the data to your own server, please refer to https://www.iammeter.com/docs/own-system. Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Question 2

Is there anyway to monitor both legs on a single phase circuit?

Accepted Answer

Buy two units install one on the phase and one on the neutral. You can only monitor one wire with one unit as only 1x CT can be connected. Why would you want to monitor the neutral anyway? Or purchase the three phase unit and just us 2x CT’s. Hope this helps.

Question 3

L1 to n =120v, l2 to n=120v, l1 to l2 =240v (typical usa residential service)

Accepted Answer

Hi:
I see, it is the single phase 3wires system.
You can use one 3phase meter(WEM3080T) to monitor it because the 3phase meter also supports split-phase usage.
You can also use the cost-effective method, which only needs one single-phase energy meter.

Question 4

Hola, funciona en Chile que utilizamos 50hz?

Accepted Answer
