Adding my comment today. I bought it for 140 aed and not when I wanted to buy it again the price is 265aed !!!! Ridiculous Works with more drip system than suggested. I found it working better with other drip system than with the ones provided. I used a power bank as the power source and it works well. Used around 20 drip systems. Saved my plants while I was on holiday

I installed the indoor irrigation device and did the setting, it is working perfectly, thanks to the supplier for sending me the YouTube explanation on how to do the setting.

It is challenging to set up as there is no instruction manual with the product. But once it is set up after a struggle, it works very well . I went on a 2 week holiday and my 10 plants were fresh and healthy when I returned!

Does not do what it promises to do. Waste of money.

Water flow pressure is very less , and when its stops the pump it should usually block the water outlet but water is automatically leaking through all outlets and draining all the water in the bucket . A Technical improvement should be there to solve the water leak issue ..

This my second Rainpoint product. I bought one for outdoor watering needs. I have a vegetable garden and bushes to water. I have successfully used their watering device for over six months without an issue. I do travel for an extended period of time and I do have several plants which need to be cared for indoors during winter months. Last few years I had to ask my neighbor to water them on a regular interval, but that was not working well as I had to depend on them to ensure watering at the right interval and right amount of water for plants to survive. As there are very unique plants and they have very specific needs for accurate watering round the year. Also I needed to manage watering remotely for which the wifi function of this system is very useful. When I saw this watering device I thought it might solve the problem. So I bought it on Amazon and it was delivered fast. The product came with everything I needed to get set up. It has a water pump, tube, connectors and very detailed instructions booklet with pictures. I was able to follow step by step instructions to set it up. I was able to calculate water usage by testing it. It dispenses little over 1 liter of water every 1 ½ minutes based on how much water I will need for the duration of my trip. My plants have different watering needs as I have one big pot which requires more water and I have small plants /pots which require less water. I used multiple drip spikes for bigger pots and used only one spike for smaller pots. I used black tubing I had left over from other project. this product comes with transparent tube. Also keep the bigger pot first in line with the watering tube so it gets more water force. Since I was going out for an extended period of time I wanted to test the system to ensure it worked reliably. In the attached video you can see it worked great. Overall easy set up and functionally great product!

I just received this unit and so far I am impressed. Connection to my wifi network was easy - you do need to have it on a 2.4Ghz network. The Rain Point app works well and is easy to navigate. I set it up so that the output from the Rain Point pump goes vertical for about 18" before running horizontally to my plants to avoid any potential siphoning. I mocked up all the lines with the drip emitters in place and measured the water output over 5 minutes. I found it took around 8 minutes to deliver 2l of water equally through 2 sets of emitters - 6 in total. I have 3 emitters in 2 plant pots so 1l per plant over 8 min. As long as the lines from the "t" fittings are equal length the pressure and flow rate should be equal from each emitter. I could see unequal flow from the emitters if you just had them t'ed off of a central line and in a row. So far I'm impressed with how everything works, the only issue I have is that getting the tubing onto the drip emitters is a bit tough. A good buy for sure!

We go on vaycay for a week & 1/2 every summer and even through I pay someone to water... I always loose a few plant babies. Not this year!! Pump worked great. I hooked it up to a 3gallon bucket for about 10 days to water nine 4-8in pots. Had about half a bucket when i got back. No fear of batteries going out because it came with a plug. All plants happy and I am happy I didn't have to pay anyone to kill them this year! I would avoid direct sunlight however and not use outside. When the weather got hot it did go out and "reset" a few times. But I also live in TX where summer is easily over 100* in the shade.

I purchased this to keep my seedling vegetables alive while away on spring break. Once I figured out the water-to-pump-time-ratio, it worked like a charm. It has been a few weeks and I had to expand the setup for up-potting. This is where I ran into the issue which a lot of negative reviews complain about... I had four tubes and several T-sections going to four trays on two tiers roughly 1m apart in height. My lower tier plants were not getting any water. But this was easily fixed by putting the included drippers at the end of each tube. It is a resistance circuit issue....the tubes need resistance at the end to get the water to flow somewhat equally. Then I just needed to double the run-time for the right water volume. So I have drippers going into trays for bottom watering....which is a bit silly but works fine. I have not had any siphoning issues. I placed the pump well above the reservoir and the plants as well, so siphoning is not possible. Lots pf negative reviews complain about the WiFi. I didnt bother with the WiFi version. I stay away from networking on electronics at this price point. It's just a pump; not everything needs to be smart. I took a star off because the clip design is pretty poor. I will be shocked if I dont accidentally break the clip off sometime this season.
