I found these very useful when highlighting my reading material. The marker seems to be a high-quality and it is easy to control and use. I would buy these again.

Not that it affected my review, but I meant to order the retractable highlighters and accidentally ended up with twenty of these. As a grad student, I go through highlighters faster than I go through socks. When it's a choice between keeping highlighters from drying out and messing up my wrist through capping and uncapping them repeatedly, well, let's just say new highlighters are more within my budget. In terms of functionality, the chisel tip works well for highlighting standard text in books, and I print articles two pages to a sheet so it's great for that sized text. Anyway, I'd say it's pretty obvious from the packaging that you won't be getting a really wide nib. The rubberized grip is actually pretty comfortable, and handy (I thought) for partially closing the highlighter without clicking it shut and having to pull it open again in the short minutes (or seconds) between uses. If you're baffled as to why this is a "pro," you probably aren't a liberal arts grad student. Of course unless you want everything you own to be yellow, you really want to click it completely shut when out of use. My only complaint is that the tip can get really soaked with highlighter fluid, not to the point of dripping, but the first time I used one it looked as though I had drizzled olive oil on the page. I've since learned to store these upright or horizontally and I haven't had any problems. I find these last at least three times longer than various brands of retractable highlighters I've used in the past, and the tip doesn't fray. I'm not five so I don't touch where I've just highlighted, but I get the feeling that these don't dry instantly and are more likely to smudge. And that's probably the most I'll ever say about highlighters in one sitting.

Perfect in usage, and this color is superior to all others for being noticeable while not obscuring the text being highlighted.
