Top shelf wash down pump. Don't try to save a few bucks. Just get Jabscos and know that if you take care of it it will take care of you.

Installed 8/06 Hose it down and keep bilge DRY and you may get lucky n get 19 years out of my next pump. Luck of the draw

Absolute Crap
Read the reviews on longevity. If you like having to replace a raw water pump, which is located in hard to reach places (bilge), then this definitely the pump you should buy. I’ve put two on in the past two years. Each lasted just over one year. The last one I purchased and installed on 3/18/23. Fished this week, and pump is locked up. I didn’t, but if you insist on buying this pump, I suggest you also buy Amazon’s 3 year extended warranty for $40. Not happy. There are much better and more reliable alternatives, but the Shurflo pump is a direct replacement for the original OEM pump. Oh the joy.

Original Shurflo was a 2007. I wanted reliability, so I chose the same brand and a similar model
My original Shurflo is used for the sink, the shower and as a wash down. It started leaking, so I did looked a replacements. Almost all replacement pumps have poor ratings and are replaced often. I paid the extra money for a new Shurflo, because I do not want to replace it again for many years. The new pump is almost noise free and was easy to install.

THE PICTURE IS WRONG
The pic shows a 5.0GPM pump. The verbiage shows 3.5GPM. Not a big deal unless you only look at the pic. I'll admit that I only look at the pic. Started in my youth with a "Mens Magazine" published by some guy named Hugh. They say that the writing was top-notch, but I sure as hell can't vouch for that! The chemicals we men are forced to carry around inside our heads are potent and not to be trifled with. They can affect/effect your personality in all kinds of untoward ways. Those were some good pics! Oh, the pump. Sure looks nice in the box. Have yet to install the mofo. OK...Installed the mofo and it's AOK, super-duper, Top-Notch and all that. Has a PSI switch so that when it's made pressure it shuts the pump off till you open the spigot. NICE. Hope it lasts. They tend to put the WORST corrosion coatings on these things. They last a year or so (in saltwater environment) and they crap out. Sort of like pre-planned obsolescence but more like, "just keep buying them and keep us afloat". Salty water goes in one side and comes out the other. What's not to like?
