WATERFLY Packable Sling Backpack Lightweight Crossbody Bag Travel Daypack

This little sling bag has officially been put through its travel paces! I carried it on hikes in Ireland, where it handled everything I needed without being bulky or getting in the way. My husband also carried it on several trips in the Caribbean, so apparently this bag has now traveled more than some people I know. 😂 It’s surprisingly roomy for its compact size. There’s plenty of space for a phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, and all the other “just in case” items that somehow seem necessary when leaving the hotel. The multiple compartments make it easy to keep everything organized rather than conducting a frantic archaeological dig for your keys. The nylon material feels durable and has a water-resistant finish that is especially nice for outdoor use. The breathable mesh back was comfortable during hikes, and the adjustable strap makes it easy to wear crossbody, over the shoulder, or across the chest. The zippers glide smoothly and quietly, and the bag feels well constructed overall. I also like that it provides enough storage to be useful without becoming one of those bags that starts out as a convenient day bag and somehow ends up weighing 15 pounds. After using it in Ireland and seeing my husband use it on multiple Caribbean trips, I’m confident this is a genuinely useful travel bag. It’s lightweight, comfortable, versatile, and holds a surprising amount without feeling oversized. Overall: A very practical travel and hiking bag. It has survived Ireland, the Caribbean, and two people with very different ideas about what constitutes an “essential.” I’d definitely recommend it.

Great lightweight backpack. I love how it folds up into itself to make a little package. I was really surprised at how much I could fit in the bag! I will use it for my Disney pack in the near term but also plan to take it traveling with me! I may or may not need it when traveling but it is so light and and small, it would be silly not to have it "just in case". Definitely recommend.

I bought this for going on outdoor excursions and I've overall been pleased with it! I've taken it a lot of places by now in a LOT of different weather conditions. It's small but not too small - it can hold my keys, phone, water bottle, snacks, and raincoat or field guide book with no problem, which is what I wanted it to do! My two small complaints are that while it is somewhat water resistant... it is NOT waterproof. I took it to Costa Rica, a very, very wet place, and anything paper inside this pack (like the paper cards in my wallet in the pack) did get damp. My phone also got waterlogged and gave up the ghost... but that's more on me for not buying a separate water-proof protective pouch for my phone specifically. Anyway, it keeps basic mist or humidity moisture off, but easily gets wet when it actually rains (not just in Costa Rica, it also gets damp fairly quickly in a normal, not heavy rain in the western US). My other thing is that the mesh water bottle pouch on the outside is a little small. It fits a plastic waterbottle perfect and works OK with my smaller insulated water bottle, but would never fit a bigger water bottle, maybe not even your standard hydroflask, without the water bottle tipping over and falling out every time you shift the bag. But other than that, I love this pack. It's super handy, comfortable, lightweight, packs up super small, can handle rough adventures (in dry climates), and fits what I need it to!

If I could give this bag more than 5 stars I would. I took this on our trip to Washington DC, and it was perfect for everything! I said at least once a day how much love this bag. There is so many pockets for organization, and the big main pocket fit 2 water bottles and random sunscreen, ibrophen, ect. It was small enough to not be cumbersome oh and it made a perfect personal bag for the airplane. The front strap has a pocket that fit my phone perfectly for ease of retrieval. I love that you can also rotate the strap so you can switch which shoulder it's on. It's light weight and durable. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag for adventuring anywhere!

This bag was amazing during my trip to Universal Orlando. It fit in the smallest free lockers and I was able to carry everything that me and my partner needed like our cooling towels, hydration satchels, even our two water bottles. I even fit a pretty big UV protectant umbrella, 3 sunscreens, band aids in case we got blisters, some tape to protect ourselves from possibly getting blisters, anti-chafe balm, and ibuprofen for the aching feet at the end of the day. Oh and two ponchos! There's a pocket on the strap that crosses the torso and I had my phone, cards and passes there for easy access.

I'm rating this 5 out of 5 because it deserves it. I've owned this thing for years. I've taken it on trips to Mexico, Europe, on cruises, and at least 6 Disney trips (Orlando, Anaheim, Tokyo, and Paris). The only negative I have is that I wish I'd found it sooner! The zippers are durable. The bag dries quickly, but is pretty good at keeping water out, somehow! I'm a big guy. 6'2 and heavy. This bag does not look too small on me. It packs up into an incredibly small piece of kit that stashes away nicely in a rollaboard. I'm currently on a 7-nigh cruise writing this, traveling carry on and personal item only, and this bag was one of my non-negotiable travel items. If you are looking for a durable, dependable, lightweight, packable, bigger inside than it looks outside, and stylish sling bags, look no further. You found the right one.

Purchased June 26th and it broke today. I was so happy with this bag that I was never going to use a traditional purse/handbag/pocket book again. Very unfortunate.
