Works great! Basically a pencil sharpener but for your taper candles to make it fit your holder.

There’s only one
Based on the item photos I expected this to be a two-pack. Maybe I just didn’t read close enough, but probably wouldn’t have paid $7 knowing it was just one. But it does the trick, shaves a candle in the same manner as a pencil sharpener

Makes cutting the candles down easy!
Cuts the church candles down perfectly for the next use! Much easier than peeling them with fingers!

Good product, misleading page
As others have noted here, there is ony one piece, not two. In every picture, it shows two of the product. You have to read way down under Product Description to find there is only one, which does make the produce twice as expensive as you were thinking. Works decently, so it would get four start, although I take off another star for the misleading pictures.

Perfect for fitting taper candles in more narrow holders!
This is exactly what I was looking for to taper down my candles to fit into more narrow candle holders! They will be stocking stuffers this year!

Works well, saves time- great value
I can now fit a taper into a candlestick quickly, easily and centered (since it shaves all “sides“ equally, unlike hand carving with a knife). I will certainly get enough usage just this Christmas season alone to justify its purchase — and I’ll have it for many seasons to come. Cost per usage is amazingly CB tiny.

Gives the impression that you will get two for this price but you only get one!

There only seem to be 2 choices for candle sharpeners. This one shows misleading photos of 2 metal units, but only delivers a single one. The other is lexan or acrylic, much less expensive, but only available in a large quantity at once, so if you only want one, it's actually much more expensive. Is this the best of 2 possible negatives? Maybe. I'd suggest a design change: I think a better option would be to replicate the old school pencil sharpener in a larger size, with a replaceable blade. So far, it works reasonably well. The main benefit over using a knife is that it's easier to direct the shavings.

Photo makes you think you are getting two, not one. So marks off for that. Quite expensive for what it is for only one.
