Calcium D-Glucarate is the result of the oxidation of gluconic acid. Gluconic acid can be produced by fermentative oxidation of glucose. There is 1.5g grams of Calcium D-Glucarate in this product. Within that 1.5 grams there is 180 mg of elemental calcium. Per FDA regulations Integrative Therapeutics has to list the amount of elemental calcium in the product separately so you know exactly how much calcium you are getting pre dose. That is why it is on a separate line.
