A great little device with real time response

I just bought a new ebike and since it's my daily commute I'll have to park it wherever when I'm out and about. I didn't feel very comfortable knowing ebikes get stolen quite frequently. Decided to get a little extra theft protection and bought this bike alarm. Instalation was simple. I don't know how some are saying the sound is to soft, my first test startled the living hell out of me and my ears were ringing for a while, I'm not kidding, this thing is LOUD! I'm very happy with this purchase and feel a lot more comfortable parking my bike in public places now. And all that extra comfort for less than $30, I feel is a great deal!

Pairs fast, super loud. Easy to install. Remote works on paired units without issue. Very durable. Installed two on my motorcycle and got a third as an early warning system. Highly pleased with this affordable rechargeable alarm! My first 6 star review!!!

I originally purchased this, because I really didn't "need" a taillight. However, I don't have enough stem space below my seat to mount this there, and there isn't much room under the seat; I didn't feel confident with this. I also didn't feel comfortable knowing whether it was fully charged or not, as there is no indicator. I returned this and purchased the WSDCAM Remote Bike Tail Light with Alarm, Smart Bike Brake Light, Auto ON/Off, Long Battery Life Rechargeable Bike Back Light, 110dB Loud Antitheft Alarm, Waterproof Rear Bike Light Bicycle Tail Light. This one comes with a fastener to attach it to the rails under the seat AND when charging the red "taillight" is illuminated - and goes off when fully charged. Happy with my upgrade!

I've had it on my e-bike for a year and have not needed to recharge it. My only problem was losing the remote off of my key ring; as another reviewer has said, do NOT attach the remote to a metal key ring because it will likely break off and get lost. The other reviewer had to smash it with a hammer to turn it off, which in a way is reassuring from a security standpoint--but I was able to get it home and am about to try connecting a replacement remote. I'm not sure how I will do it without setting the alarm off repeatedly. UPDATE: I ended up buying another one, and then a third one when that was stolen (while it wasn't activated). I still think this alarm is just great, which is why I keep buying them. Just secure the remote with a plastic zip tie rather than anything metal. EDIT: I was told by the manufacturer that the only way to disable the alarm without the remote (and without smashing it) is to drain the battery completely by repeatedly triggering it. I tried it probably at least 30 times without success, which at least shows the battery life is quite good. I ended up just buying another alarm, which gives me an extra remote in case this happens again.

I just wish it would be louder. It works as described. I tried to use it in my rooftop tent. It was a long shot that it would had work because it's in the shell, but it's muffled and hardly heard but it's understood. When I attached it to my solar panels while camping, it works as expected. Someone or an animal touched in the middle of the night and the warning sound came up waking me up and scaring the "unwanted visitor." I like also the fact that it's rechargeable and i don't have to put out more money to keep it working. I would like to clarify that it's not loud enough if put inside the rooftop ten once it's closed. It is very loud when installed in the open as you would on a bike. It's a good value for it's preforms. I also own one with regular batteries. It is time to replace them, but for the price of this one, I'm buying a second one and forget about buying more batteries. A con is that when it's plugged to recharge, it has no way to tell that it's fully charged, so I just leave it for few hours or overnight. Yes I recommend this alarm.

I was surprised how loud the alarm was. It sounds like the old car alarm with all the sirens and noisy sounds. My wife and I were riding on the towpath trail, see I retired last year so I got time to write a long review. Anyway, they have beautiful restaurants and sports bars on the trail and you can just pull your bike up to the many handsome bike racks and step inside to purchase a refreshing adult beverage of your choice. My young 50 something year old stunning wife, said “ Honey, I’m worried about the bikes! I said” Never fear, your big strong protector, who would die for you, is here. She said” Batman is that you? I said No, it’s Honey, and I’ll go check on the bikes. So I ran fast to check on the bikes, so I can get back. I hear out the corner of me ear, my bike alarm was going off, here I come electric bicycle. Just as I arrive, a little old lady sitting on the picnic table looking like her name was Ladybug, with both hands over her ears looking at me screaming” turn this thing off, so I said, that’s what you get for messing with my bike. She said, someone bike was parked next to your bike and unlocked their bike, and I said’ and messed with my bike. She said no, it was next to your bike, I said I don’t believe you, she said, no really. I said, lady if you touch my bike one more time, I’m going to dig my hand down in my pocket and give you all these hundred dollar bills. Have a good day

This alarm is working very well and worth each penny. The alarm sound is very loud similar as home security system alarmed in the house. Tried to change sound volume and sensitivity, exactly followed with the instructions but both are not working. Not sure what is the issue. I have contacted with their customer service twice, but they didn't answer me at all. Updated: Finally found the way to change settings, actually hold unlock button and wait for the remote indicator light off then still hold unlock button untill the light will be turned on again. At this time, it is in setting mode. Release unlock button, click next desired button to change. Their customer service team also respond to me in 2 days and they are responsible team. They can understand my situation and they will add a video for this setting change process. Great!

I have given this alarm five stars for all the reasons that you would want alarm to do I use it for my mobility scooter and it is outstanding. It’s easy to fit and it’s made of quality material and well designed and the alarm when first set off alerts discreetly to let the person know it is fitted with an alarm thereafter oh hell let’s lose and that’s exactly as I wanted it. It has an easy to use fob for to silence it and set it. I am very impressed with this alarm and I recommend it for all the reasons that you would wish to have your alarm to have five stars
