This steamer has a larger reservoir than others I have had. It also puts out more steam than the others. The optional fabric brush works well to remove loose items from the fabric. The cord has a pivoting ball connection to the unit which helps reduce wear and allows for more fluid movement. While I cannot speak to longevity, I am very happy with the performance.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love this for tackling wrinkled clothes anything from tee shirts to jeans and formal wear. I use distilled water to keep any calcium from building up. I purchased a cheap bbq sauce dispensor for use filling the tank up since my iron has a small opening to fill its tank. So the dispensor just sits ready in the laundry room to fill either this clothes steamer or other laundry items that require water. However the tank to refill on this steamer does easily turn right out of its base to fill by bottle or faucet. I really like the soft grip finish on this steamer and overall think it’s an attractive looking steamer. It does get VERY hot if you chose that setting and the only thing I would recommend besides distilled water with it is to make sure to unplug it once you’re finished with using it. I’ve discovered that even when I switch the lever to off it maintains the heat to be started quickly back up. That might be an operator error since I did not read the instructions and I’m pretty confident that it clearly states how to use it. I just didn’t take the time to read the instructions. Since purchasing it’s been working great with tons of use and has shown to be a great laundry go-to. Highly recommend.

Works great on most fabrics, even on delicate fabrics (Follow the directions!) . Takes a little patience on thick fabrics like khaki but way better than anything else that I have tried.

I think Im in loveee. This is the 5th time buying CHI products. 1 I've gifted because of my good experience with it. 4th CHI product I've ever owned. And my second for steaming. This was an upgrade to my previous one and I am pretty pleased. It is not too heavy, not the lightest but definitely manageable and fair considering its quality. I can tilt it and it will not leak. Heats up fairly quickly as well. Tank capacity hasnt been an issue for me either. Highly recommend.

Do not buy. Worked well when first purchased and used. Cleaned after first used and kept in box, but after one year of no use, now will not produce steam. Followed all instructions for cleaning and troubleshooting. Still will not produce steam. Noticed that others also have given negative reviews for same issue. Does not last for long time use even with excellent care. Very expensive for such limited lifespan.

One of the beat steamers out there!!! It is a bit heavy so not great for travel but powerful to use at home.

I love it, and can now dispose of my ironing board! It gives strong stream and easily streams my clothes, and will take it when I travel.

Es excelente para el planchado rápido de una prenda en su gancho, como camisa y blusa. Fácil de usar y de buena calidad. Cirdon de alimentacion largo y el deposito de agua es suficiente. La recomiendo ampliamente.
