Vacmaster VWMB508 1101 5-Gal 5 PHP Remote Control Wall Mount Wet/Dry Vac

Great design and does several jobs for me. The fact that it can be used as a car wash style vacuum is terrific. It works well in both applications mounted and unmounted. The suction is really good and the remote handle is awesome. The best part of this unit is its incredibly long reach with tons of hose and a 18ft cord. I'm not sure you can match this quality and design for the price and it really feels like a great value to me. I also must add the pictures do not do justice and it looks impressive in person.

I have a long history with wet-dry vacuum cleaners and used to work for this manufacturer, currently retired. In my opinion, I know first hand that the strong suction performance, portability and low noise level is second to no other unit offered within the vacuum marketplace. Additionally, there's a unique innovative remote control which is a huge plus when supporting a very long reach, 42 feet with extended hoses and long electric cord! You can literally be vacuuming areas over 40 feet away from the wet-dry vacuum and turn the unit on/off by a handheld remote control. The unit comes with a rugged wall mount assembly that's very secure allowing you to easily lift the unit from the wall, providing you need portability. Great value as this vacuum has quality features throughout and is way under priced, should easily be retailing for around $250-300! It's definitely one of my favorite tools hanging in my garage!!

Very nice wall mounted garage vacuum. Comes with two hoses, traditional plastic one commonly used in all shop vac's, an expansion hose that stretches out then retracts making it compact to wrap around vacuum. The remote option is awesome, leave top switch on and it operates off the handle on/off button. Great value, light weight and excellent mounting bracket easy to install. This vac would be a great gift for someone with limited space in the garage.

I bought this vacuum soley because I liked the Bluetooth on off switch in the hose. It's a very nice option and I like that it comes out of the hose and you can set it beside you in the vehicle. I find with it attached it makes it hard to get into tight areas. I think they could have made the crevis tool a lot better.. I do not like it at all. It's big and doesn't fit in tight areas. To get into those areas like in between seats I use the one that narrows down into a circle at the end and then my old crevis tool from my previous vacuum and it works well. I also like this vacuum because it is quiet. It could be a little stronger suction and the hose could be longer especially if it's supposed to be mounted to a wall it would be nice to be a little longer. I think the price is a little expensive but I think time will tell. I spent more on a different name brand one and it didn't last a year. Overall nice and would probably buy again if nothing else for a spare one.

This is a great shop vac. Perfect size and it works great to have it mounted. Good design with all the necessary and extra accessories!

Great suction power, long hose so you can reach all parts of the car. Installs easily and ca. be lifted off if you need to go mobile with it. Some reviews state while using the on/off feature on the handle the unit will randomly startup. I have not experienced that issue, but I turn the unit off when I am doing using it for the day. While I’m using it, I will use the handle feature as I’m moving around. Being able to have the unit mounted to the wall, it frees up space and any potential trip hazard of the power cord or the unit itself.

I've had this for 1 year now and I love it! Powerful suction, nice toolset. Surprisingly nice hoses - the soft one is ideal for vehicle/boat interiors you don't want to scuff. Didn't think i needed the remote, but yeah, i like that too. Works equally well dry or wet. i love that it hangs out of the way in my garage, but goes mobile effortlessly. A+

I'm reviewing: Vacmaster VWMB508 1101 5 Gallon Wall-Mount Wet/Dry Vacuum with Remote Control Things I like: I like the remote on the handle. That's really helpful when starting and stopping while far from the can. The vacuum power seems to be decent. The flexible hose is great, the longer hose, meh. Things I don't like: Without the appropriate attachments, it won't pick up things like grass on a door mat, or dirt on a grooved or uneven surface very well. You can't do a "scrub" type motion. There is no brush, only rigid hard plastic nozzles. The attachments and hoses are NOT STANDARD. This means that even if I have an attachment that would do what I need, it will not fit onto this machine. The hose and extensions feel like they aren't made for use with this machine. The larger end goes over the handle, then the next piece fits larger end over that one, and the whole thing feels like it's going to fall apart. It doesn't fit together with any secure fit. The wand bends is you try to put pressure on the end tool. It is nearly impossible to push the tool along on a rug or carpet. You have to pull the tool towards you and lift/drop the handle to create the appropriate seal for suction, This is even using the opening in the handle. Uneven surfaces aren't easy. When you pull the tool towards you, many times the suction hangs up and the wand pieces come apart from each other. And it is difficult to twist the parts to get a different floor angle. I had to go over a single, pea sized rock about 15 times before the floor tool picked it up. Seriously, just really disappointed with these accessories. It needs a better floor tool, with rollers and a lift function, and it needs brushes. I tried to vacuum some grass that blew into my patio from outside weed eating, and it won't come off without brushing. I thought this would save me some work, but it's really very awkward and bulky, without the reward of a good strong clean in one pass.

What a great little vacuum. I set this up on my garage wall. With it's very long suction hose and wifi control this couldn't be any better. I wouldn't wait, just buy this!!

Nice vacuum for the garage but i wish it had attachments for in between seats for cars. The handle switch on/off can be use even if not attached to the hose which is nice. It is a very quiet vaccum compare to the shop-vac i had before. Suction is good. would have given it 5 stars if it had more hose attachments. All in all, it is a nice vacuum and does the job quite well.

I was pretty impressed at how well this unit sucks. It comes with some really long lines which is great also. The holding tank isn't huge on this unit though, it fills up pretty fast if you are cleaning up a mess. For me that was a bit of a pain, but I guess you are trading off a more portable unit for a smaller tank size.

It is being used in our workshop and has performed well so far. It is quiet which we really like but it has not yet been put to the sawdust collection test so cannot offer a review on that front.
