Dense but informative
I am truly enjoying this book, but fair warning: it is for those who are familiar with the language of philosophy. If you do know the language, it is an excellent source for the aesthetics of all styles of art.

Excellent overview appropriate for those new to the field and the already initiated.
This volume provides an excellent overview of the current hot debates in philosophy of art. Each topic is treated in sufficent depth to engage a graduate student with background in aesthetics, and yet the topics treated provide a sampler platter for those new to the discipline. An excellent read overall.
