The Ram mount was easy to fit. The quality is good and it works.

The mount does fit the handlebar as advertised, but the width leaves no room for any protective packing. That means you can’t add a spacer to stop potential marks on the bar, which is worth factoring in before purchasing. On the positive side, the construction feels solid and well finished — it gives the impression of being durable. For me, though, the fit issue was a dealbreaker and I ended up returning it. I was collecting a new bike from the back end of nowhere and wanted a mount for my sat nav that I could fit quickly and easily with minimal tools for the ride home, This did the job, wasn’t the cheapest, but far from the most expensive, Adaptors for various sized bars Single Allen screw to lock into place It’s not a genuine RAM Mount so didn’t expect the world, and while there was some vibration transferred through from the bars, I could still use the sat nav. Would I use this all the time? Probably not for a heavy sat nav like my TomTom rider or a Garmin, But for a one off trip or mounting lighter things on a less vibey part of the bike I’m sure it’ll be fine

Great quality ball mount for use with a quad lock mount on my handlebars. A range of shims to adjust size and support grip. Fits securely to my handlebars. The quad lock mount fits to it with a ball joint connector and stays securely positioned.

Kan mijn houder van de tomtom hier goed aan vastmaken. Wel merk ik na een wat langere rit dat hij iets verschuift door de trillingen. Zo goed mogelijk aangedraaid en nu is dat nog steeds iets, maar minimaal. Verder tevreden mee.

I needed something for my older snow machine to mount my phone to. I had already bought a phone mount that I used in my side by side and I wanted to re-use it on my sled. That meant mounting on the handlebar as opposed to a flat mount. This product came up in my search and I thought I'd give it whirl. It was packaged very basically with no literature included. I don't think you really need instructions as it's quite self explanatory. The kit included everything you need for all sorts of mounting situations as well as an allen key. There were plenty of spacers to fit pretty much any application. I chose one spacer but found I had to add the thin rubber strip as well just to keep everything nice and snug. Installation was pretty easy. My biggest challenge was due to the tight space on the handlebars. I really only had one option where it could go. This design was just perfect. It was nice and slim and managed to just fit in that tight spot. The only minor issue is the bump that protrudes from the bottom due to the hinge. That made things a bit tight to get around the sled's wiring. Not really a fault of the product though. Otherwise, everything was nice and solid. The product seems of great quality. It's a sturdy aluminum with stainless screws. This is perfect for the harsh conditions this will sit in. The rubber bushings are nice and soft and should last a long while. Overall this is a solid, well made unit that worked perfect for my application. It's a fraction of the cost of "RAM" branded mounts and does the job just as well. I highly recommend this for that style of mount. Pros: Great price Solid aluminum build Lots of included mount options Cons: Hinge "bump" can get in the way depending on application
