Vanish Oxi Action Powerspraycarpet and Upholstery Stain Remover 500 ml (Pack of Two)

I was reintroduced to vanish in Sweden….i remember my mom using it…worked great on my “to big to wash, washable rug” big coffee spill almost completely gone…only I notice a few places.

This is the only product that we've ever tried that actually works. We had 3 stains in our carpet that have been scrubbed more than once in an attempt remove-to no avail. We tried Vanish and it was amazing. Gone. I could not believe it. A simple spray, soak it in a bit, scrub with a cloth, and it was gone. We loved it so much that we immediately got back on-line and bought 4 more bottles to have on hand. It was on the higher price and took a month to ship from Europe to the States, but it is well worth it.

I have an IKEA low-pile rug I use in my cat's play and eating area. Over time it accumulated deep brown food stains from my cat dragging her wet food on the (clean) carpet. I didn't really mind initially because it was a secondhand rug I got for cheap. But the stains got darker. I tried multiple home remedies (blotting with vinegar and dish soap; blotting with baking soda paste and vacuuming, etc.) which somewhat helped but they never significantly removed the stains even when repeated. I found out about this product from reddit. I just gave it a try yesterday, and after two repeats there is a noticeable difference. I'm quite impressed. There's still some residual staining but I think with frequent periodic treatments they'll be fade enough. Since my rug is low-pile and just sitting on a solid floor, I put clean towels underneath it to absorb extra liquid while the product was soaking into the rug. It helped speed up the drying process because I couldn't keep my cat away from her play area for long. I subtracted one star for the smell. I wish the fragrance was a notch or two weaker.

I'm not particularly handy, nor a homemaker. But after using this on a 6 month old coffee stain on white carpet, I am impressed. Doesn't need long to sink in. You don't need to scrub hard, more blotch to take the stain material off. A simple and very effective item to have around.

Great product! It got out months-old red wine stains that remained after an initial cleaning with another carpet cleaner. Considering the light beige color of the carpet, I was absolutely amazed. I live in the US and waited a while for it to be delivered from the UK....totally worth it.

This is not what it seems to be. The product is in Spanish I can not read it and it seems to be for clothing. It is not available for refund and I am very upset.

Pretty good at getting the stains out my clothes. Tough to find stateside.

Wonderful stain removing power, leaves no trace and has become an essential supply in our home, (though that does make us sound like we live in a mess) it really does the trick and the worst case was a glass of red on a cream carpet, you would never know it had been there now, and we did not get the vanish until a few days later, this is a great product.

I used to get this product from tesco,but they don't stock it now,so it's back to amazon.This carpet spray is a great spot cleaner .The cleaning process only takes a max 5 minutes,instead of 2 hours for some other cleaners.Handy to have around the house.

Did the trick removing red brick dust from a new light coloured carpet. It may just have saved my life, as the wife may have killed me for not being more careful when drilling holes in the wall! Magic.
