Solid build, haven't used it yet as it is avoiding Xmas gift, however I am excited for the wife to use! Looks just like the image. Arrived even better than expected

This is of good quality. Interior is ceramic and exterior is cast iron. The cast iron on the pot is okay, but these days the thickness of the metal is not like good old original days when it was a thick and heavy. It still has weight but surely thinner and instead has ceramic layer in the interior.

I can't find the pictures and they're all packed up for the move. But I can tell you I love it. Easy to use, fits together really well so it's easy to store. It's so pretty and I love how long it stays hot. I have left tea and leaves in it for over a week and it never rusted. It's multifunctional btw, you can use it with our without a tea candle. I like having the tea candle so me tea stay warmer longer.

For what you are receiving, you can’t beat the price. I paid right around $50 for the set and I was surprised at how nice it all is. The twine on the handle does get loose, but it is t needed at all. The handle doesn’t get hot for me anyways. Everything is cast iron and so it’s heavy. One small complaint is the warmer base is small and the teapot can slide around a bit on top. It has little stops to try to keep the teapot from sliding all the way off, but I’ve seen better designs on other sets.

Bought this set as a Christmas gift for my babe and she absolutely loved it! Quality is great, price is on point, and they're esthetically pleasing. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for use is once you pour tea into the cups they become piping hot. So hot you can even touch or sip from them. You'll need to wait for whatever beverage you've brewed to cool WAY down. That or just use a cup from home.

I am not particularly knowledgeable about Japan or Japanese culture but I am building a cabin in the woods, living off grid, and this set is a suitably rustic black cast iron style. The kettle can go on the woodstove to heat or boil the water and the warmer is actually large enough to use with a Sterno cooking fuel canister for general purpose cooking if a tealight candle isn't sufficient for chafing. A strainer for preparing bulk or loose tea is included. The hobnail pattern is very pretty, a little more technical than one may realize, designed to retain heat at certain resonant microwave frequencies. Hold a cup of hot tea in cold hands without burning yourself, for example. The insides or food-contact portions of the pot, lid and cups are all enameled for cleanliness and food safety.

This is pretty awesome for the price point, cool warmer, awesome tea cups and beautiful yet not to over the top decoration solid tea pot/cups/warmer. My wife and her friends come over and we always end up with making 3 to 4 cups of tea for some, this was our go to. The infuser is nice and so is the trivet, guess I forgot to mention those. Anyhow nice set to have, its heavy so don't drop it on your foot.

I love it the knicks and bumps on the teapot as shown in the pictures it gives it more character and i love that. It has provided many a delicious drinks so far but there is one downside to this product, and that is the mesh tea insert, it rusted after two uses and stained the teapot and became unusable after since it was poor quality.
