If I order, will it be sent in a soft envelope so when I open it there will be grease everywhere? This is the biggest complaint.

I received my grease in perfect condition. The seller knew how to pack it securly.

electric motor grease?

For motor I would recommend Mobil Polyrex EM. Greases like Mobiluz EP1 are ideal for low-viscosity applications, such as in centralized lubrication systems, this soft grease has the consistency of tomato paste. The penetration range at 77°F (25°C) is 310 to 340. I hope that helps.

What is the grease odor? Is it a petroleum smell or a 'crayon' smell?

This product has a petroleum smell

Has the seller corrected the shipping issue and now packing in sturdy containers?

My EP1 arrived intact and on time ready for use.
