Is this a convex mirror like the factory part or is it flat?

It is convex and has the insignia "Objects in mirror are close than they appear" engraved on it. Only the Driver Side mirror is flat. Note that as stated in the listing and shown in the picture this item is glass only that comes with adhesive. There is Nothing - no heater grid, no plastic backing plate, not electrical connectors etc., attached to the back of this glass or included in the box. We trust this answers your question.

Simple to install

Remove your problem mirror and peel the glass away from the plastic frame, use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive. Simply stick the new glass to the plastic frame and it’s done.
