These fit my 89 C-1500 almost perfectly. It took a little shoving, but I was eventually able to get them in place and secured. They fit out of the way and give the truck a clean look. *** Clarification on "without grill" for 6.5" *** I thought that 6.5" without grill meant that no grill was sent along with the mold, but in fact, what it means is that you cannot fit a speaker grill on to a 6.5" speaker do the proximity of the tweeter mound section. There was barely enough room to mount the speakers on the flat portion of the mold without a grill.
