The listing Amazon has is incorrect. It is 1.75 gallon.

Q: Can the white one be used for gas? Anyone tried it?

NO, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! The white 1 gallon tank weighs 1.9 lbs, the red one weighs 2.3 lbs. They are built different for different uses.

Q: Are the water cans the same dimentions as the 1.75 gal gas cans? 3.6x13.4x14.9

I have tried to get Amazon to correct this listing, but apparently it isn't important to them. The one gallon water is 14 x 9 x 3 1/8. The 1.75 water is 15 x 13 1/8 x 3 1/2.
