These are not Jordan Almonds. Not Sconza product? Arrived 7/20/24 in Nutig box.
This is the second time I ordered 5 lb. bad of Jordan almonds, presumably made by Sconza, a brand I have purchased for years. Jordan almonds have a THIN candy shell that surrounds a WHOLE almond. The product I received was almond PIECES with a very thick, chalky coating. The first time this happened, I thought I had purchased the wrong item and that it was my fault. So I gave the candy to someone else who was not diabetic. The second time I ordered I looked very carefully at the product descriptions and chose the one that specifically identified the Sconza brand. This time, the product came in a Nutig box, but the bag inside was marked with the Sconza brand. I was really glad, thinking it was an authentic product, opened the bag and divided it into 1 lb. portions. The very first almond I ate was not a Jordan almond - it was the same chalky substance with almond pieces. To date, I have paid over $70.00 for 2- 5lb bags of the wrong product. Amazon indicates the product is NOT returnable. Was Sconza bought out by the Nutig company? I still see smal Sconza bags of Jordan almonds in the "wedding supplies" aisles in craft and other stores, and they are indeed still the original Jordan almonds. Is this a scam???? I want my money back from this Nutig company and a fair and accurate product description from Amazon. I am now seeing that others have had this same issue - this is not acceptable.

Candy shell too hard
Delicious but very hard candy shell. I worried about breaking a tooth so had to nibble carefully. Won't be getting these again.
