Will I need bags to strain the pulp?

No, MioMat comes with a strainer that will strain the milk. Please note that many plant-based milks like cashew, oat, or milk from blanched almonds require little to no straining. Hope this help :)

Hello, if buying from amazon.co.uk it will work as it is 220volts - you will need the adapter however

Do you need to soak the nuts first?

No, not always. It depends on the particular nuts & seeds etc that you are using. We did soak both the Soya and the Yellow Beans that we used to make milk and a thicker ‘porridge’ (respectively) but put the Almonds straight in (I.e. unsoaked). Having said all of that though, we only used it 6 times when it developed an electrical fault so severe it tripped the house electrical supply ring-main - so it then was sent straight back for a refund! We’re still looking for a suitable (and safe) replacement!
