Definitely allows the caliper pin and brakes to slip and slide around seems pretty good quality. Think I'm switching over to only this for doing my brakes.

This is a decent product but keep in mind that Molycote M77 is almost cheaper when purchased in 2oz increments.Dow Corning Molycote M77 is the standard for brake grease used in areas contacting rubber. It is available under Honda OEM Molypaste M77 @ less than $18.00 for 2.5oz. A great deal! I'm sure that this will perform well as many permetex products do but at $5+ dollars for .5oz, mmm.... I may consider purchasing the industry standard.

This disc brake lube has never failed us. Use all the time with great results and consistent rust protection. Durable, thick, and small tube easy to use and keep on hand.

Perfect for lubricating brake parts

So about two years ago i replaced my brake pads and calipers and then over the summer I got a small vibration in my steering wheel noticeably i could feel it from the front drivers side tire and noticed my brakes would squeal when i came to a stop, and they were feeling spongy which i thought was weird. when i got home took the wheels off thinking maybe the caliper had some rust from the nasty Wisconsin winter, went through everything even bled all the brake lines with new fluid thinking that would help but didn't reapply copper anti-seize as there was still some on the pins, i just smeared it around. well needless to say it came back about 2 months later, and at this time the one pin on the drivers side was dry, i am honestly surprised it did not completely seize up on me, well all that aside i reapply anti-seize liberally, and figured i was done but my brakes still felt a little spongy. well i start hearing it again this spring which was about 6-8 months after the two incidents happened and i get the wobble back in my steering wheel, totally thinking crap i am going to have to just redo the caliper at this point, i call up one of my good friends who is a ford master mechanic and he tells me to stop using the copper anti-seize oddly enough made by permatax and switch to either this or the Ceramic extreme brake parts lubricant as they seem to work much better, knowing i don't do brakes very often i just buy the little 5 oz. bottle to try it out, and for the last 7 months i have seen better brake performance, and my brakes are no longer spongy, for the price i wish i would have bought more, who would have though the anti seize was my problem all along .

Dopo estese ricerce online ho scelto questo prodotto per ingrassare i pistoncini dei freni della mia auto, dato che è uno di quei grassi che non ne degradano i cuscinetti in gomma.Che dire dopo 7 mesi i pistoncini non hanno problemi e sono ancora vivo. RaccomandatoEDIT: dopo più di un anno noto che la guarnizione alla fine del pistoncino basso non si è degradata ma si è gonfiata, invisibile all'occhio ma quel tanto che basta da bloccare i pin e far vibrare i freni, per fortuna rotori e pastiglie non costano tanto - non lo consiglio se i vostri pistoncini hanno guarnizioni ad anello a fine corsa.MALE perché non c'è un'avvertenza sulla scatola, va a fortuna in base alla qualità della gomma e composizione chimica, per stare sul sicuro è meglio lubrificante freni a base siliconica alte temperature.
