I love this. It mixes my protein coffee perfectly. It creates such a smooth texture with no more lumps, or hand shaking so hard. I used to use a personal blender which was very loud. If it were very early in the morning before work I would have to hide in another end of the house to mix my protein coffee because the blender was so loud. This does the job perfectly and is very quiet! No more hiding. It practically cleans itself. I put a drop of dish soap with water in it and push the button to blend again. All that is left to do is rinse when the blend cycle is done. Loved this so much I purchased a second one for traveling. It is so easy to travel with.

This little powerhouse has earned its spot in my gym bag. It has mixed every protein powder and pre-workout I’ve thrown at it with no problem, and I really appreciate that the agitator is separate from the electric base. That small design choice makes cleaning way easier and keeps the whole bottle feeling more practical for daily use. So far, I’ve had no leaks, no clumps, and no complaints. Definitely a solid upgrade over a regular shaker bottle.

This is good for mixing powders but not protein powders. The reason why is because it does not mix the protein very well and the powders sticks in areas that the blender cannot break apart which also causes clumps. This is very annoying so I found that I can only use it for pre workout powders or food powders. The charger stand last about 20 or so blends until it needs charged again but the charger is quick. It is fairly easy to clean but stuff gets stuck under the blender area which is a bit annoying to get to. It is a good alternative to more expensive products but I think the regular shaker bottles are better for protein powders.

This review is long overdue as I've had these products for a good 6 months now. First off, don't put the rechargeable base in the fridge/freezer and screw it up like I did. However, since that wasn't initially listed technically, the VOLTRX team sent me a replacement with free expedited shipping of any model of my choosing. Especially for Amazon lately, that's pretty great customer service. Then I bought a second one which (My fault!) I chipped at the bottom because I am reckless with these things, and it doesn't stay locked in now. Still spins, but I gotta hold it while I'm using it. So now I am buying 2 more because I am OCD and want different colors for smoothie/juices, coffee, or other. This is the best mixer/shaker I have tried out of almost a dozen over the past several years. People need to understand this is NOT a Blender, it is a shaker. If you want a hand-held *blender* then go pay $50-100 more for a Ninja or something that has sharp blades. That being said, this mixes protein drinks, smoothies, coffee, even yogurt/ice cream when it's softer. It's powerful, charges fast, lasts a while, it's easy to clean, and a great product overall. My only 'gripe' would be that there are seemingly two models that only vary by the size of the twist-lock on the bottom, and you'll get one or the other. Premium or VortexBoost, but not a huge deal if you care for your items properly (I do not, that is on me...) Happy to get a couple more and I am happy to see out of the slew of knockoff & spam companies from China that overwhelm Amazon, there are still good companies out there. AMAZON TIP: Make sure you're buying from Amazon.com or 'VOLTRX Direct' from Hong Kong specifically, that's their official legit company.

This VOLTRX Premium Electric Protein Shaker Bottle is basically my unofficial gym training partner at this point. I use it 5 to 6 times a day, no exaggeration. Pre-workout, post-workout, mid-day “I need more gains” shake. It is always in rotation. First off, the mixing is insane. You hit the button and it goes full vortex mode like it is trying to summon gains from another dimension. No clumps, no chunks, no “why does this taste like dry powder at the bottom” nonsense. Whether it is whey, creatine, or that questionable pre-workout that makes you feel like you can fight gravity, it mixes everything smooth. Now here is where they really earned my respect. I had bought one before and somehow lost the rubber gasket, completely my fault. Never noticed if it had one or not. I did not even realize it until way later, like 12 months out of warranty later. I figured I was out of luck. Nope. VOLTRX came through like absolute legends and sent me a brand new one. That kind of customer service just does not happen anymore. Like a Tony Stark, Iron Man, hail Mary to save my muscle fibers from an apocalyptic gains loss. Saved the world like the Avengers? More like saved my pump from a snap of the soy boy destructive gains fingers, complete with no workout stones. Body; you're not robbing my gains, VOLTRX is delivering them. So while you are in the gym with your “beast mode activated,” thinking you are about to break a personal record, this thing is quietly doing the real work. It keeps your protein perfectly mixed so you can keep chasing those gains. Energy? How about raw power from the stars? This bad boy mixes up liquid energy like Poseidon commands the seas. Bottom line If you lift, this is not just a shaker. It is part of your gear.

After leaving my original 3 star review due to the battery dying, I was able to find the customer support contact information on the Voltrx website. Judith was very responsive and let me know that all bottles come with a 12 month warranty. I just had to send a quick video of the battery not working and she shipped me a new bottle and battery within 24 hours. Her customer service was excellent and knowing that they are so willing to help their customers made me redo my review. Great customer service. It was great while it worked. I’ve had it for 3 months and used it basically every day. Today it randomly decided to quit working. It’s fully charged and everything but won’t turn on anymore. The base never got wet so I have no idea why it randomly quit working but it was nice while it lasted. Won’t be buying another since it quit working so quickly.

I want to be clear that I do really like this bottle. It’s better than a shaker in that I can do other things while my protein is proteining, and that’s awesome. Can get it going while my breakfast is cooking or I’m making my coffee, it’s just a solid quality of life item. It’s not necessary, and it does leave some clumps on occasion, that’s just protein though. Shakers may get rid of a little more clumpiness, and starting the blender then dropping in protein may reduce clumps a bit. My only real problem with this is in battery life. For reference, I bought a Zultay electric stirrer back in August, (7 months ago as of this writing) and it came with 2 double A batteries (Duracell). They have never been changed and we use that thing almost daily. The VOLTRX bottle needs charging weekly, sometimes twice a week, there is a warning light kind of and it’s noticeable weaker when it needs charged. But this is really the only reason I give it two stars, they could make the base a little meatier and give it a bigger battery to make it really last a while, especially when the only thing it’s really doing is spinning. Is this a Li-Ion thing where they just don’t hold a charge very long? It runs for about 30seconds per use…so a week of daily usage that’s 210seconds (3.5 minutes) and it’s struggling? Even with the light on it that shows charge (sort of) there is no reason it shouldn’t last a good 2-3 weeks. I can only assume this thing has a little rechargeable watch battery inside…
