Excellent safeguard against static discharge.
Nothing worse than blowing up a board with some careless handling. These go a long way to lessening the likelihood.

High quality
It protects the microbit from damage well and fits well. It is easy to use. The build is light but strong. It is high quality for money and is very functional. It is not a must for it but is can save money in the long term.

It's well designed to snap in while keeping all the important interfaces clear. I'll definitely buy more.

You don't need this, but you'll feel more comfortable handling your Microbit if you have one. It fits snuggly so there's no rattling around. It stays closed well. It's still easy to use the buttons and connectors on the Microbit. The one downside is that the cardboard battery case holder doesn't work with it, so your battery case will be flopping around loose. But that's an easy fix with some double sided tape. Overall I think it's really good. And if your use case doesn't involve a battery pack then it's perfect. I wish the company had a similar product with a back plate that held a battery pack.

This case fits the micro bit well. It looks great and is durable. The buttons, sensors and connectors are all easy to utilize. The LEDs show up well through the plastic. Especially good for younger kids that aren't as careful with their electronics as adults are.
