Columbia Men's Ultimate ROC Cargo Short

These shorts are comparable to the Tommy Bahama Key Grip Shorts at 1/2 to a 1/3 of the cost. Slightly thinner material than than Key Grip but extremely comfortable to wear. Great for hiking, walking, everyday wear and even a casual night out. I highly recommend these shorts.

I like the look and fit of these shorts but the quality of the seams and sewing is subpar. First 2 pairs I bought last year ripped at the crotch including the material and seam and could not be repaired. Bought another 2 pairs this year and am having the same problem. Velcro shuts on the cargo pockets are also loosing thread and coming off. Have similar Columbia shorts that are anyway from 5 to 8 years old and none have this problem. Quality has gone downhill.

Female, 5' 6"- it's had to find women's shorts in a decent length so I chose these for the 12 " inseam. Product dries super fast, is very comfortable, but tends to stretch out with simple wear.

The waist size as purchased was correct and the fit slightly snug, but given the fabric blend, thought it would expand with use (as most garments do). The problem with the Columbia Cargo shorts is they use a snap waist latching system as opposed to a button which creates a more secure fastening. I find the snap comes apart at inopportune times and one must always wear a belt or it becomes bothersome depending on the activity you are doing.

I like these shorts because they do not wrinkle easily and they look good straight out of the dryer. The pockets use Velcro to keep them securely closed and it works well. I would/will buy them again.

These are great I would recommend them to a friend. The top button is different and takes some getting used to but it's not bad.

Columbia shorts fit me and are always well made.
