These are super compact and light, easy to handle or hang. You can adjust how much light you want by lifting the cylinder- gives off a great amount for such a tiny, easy to store lantern. Got these for my entire family- Girl Scouts taught me to always be prepared!! Theu did come in very handy during our last 2 major snowstorms!

Ok for inside a tent, less so for wandering around outside in the dark. Obnoxiously white when full opened but the way the light slides into the base makes adjusting the brightness easy. Main thing is that these are made of plastic painted to look like metal. The claim that these are military grade is absolute nonsense.

I love these little lights. You can easily adjust them for the amount of light you need by just pulling up the top. Just one lantern will light up a whole room, and it’s not that bright white that is blinding, it’s a softer white but still works great!!! Worth the money. I liked them so much that I bought some for my elderly parents so they won’t light dangerous candles if the power goes out.
