Great for neuromas & bursitis
So far, these things, along with toe separators, are keeping me from having to have major surgery on my foot...! Way better than any other neuroma pads I've tried. They are made to apply to your foot (best, because the skivs should face down) but I've also just stuck them on my footbeds for longer lasting wear. I am a hiker and dancer., and these greatly reduce the pain!

Sticks Amazingly Well!
People who say it doesn’t stick, don’t stick with it. Day one, sticks. Day two, seems like it’s not sticky (ie take off do shower, look at it to put back on) But… if you push it in, put on a sock. It sticks. It just doesn’t SEEM sticky, but it is. You can literally reuse this thing for a week if you wanted to. I don’t think that’s sanitary, but you get the point. The felt gives more support than the foam ones. It was suggested by a doctor go metatarsalgia, which I got wearing 2 inserts instead of one, which crushed my metatarsals over 2 months of cycling. The initial symptoms are numbness so I didn’t feel it until PAIN. Anyways, it takes a while to heal, and so you’d need to get a number of these pads to last months. So multiple times wearing them is a plus on saving money. They do the job perfectly. If I had an insert that was soft, I could see putting this under the insert (putting it on may push off when you insert your foot, sticking it under is the same position as on your foot) and then you’d only really need one, as felt holds its shape well. Great product, made well, cut into a good shape, stick forever even though it seems it won’t, it does. Just trust it, put it back on, and let gravity make it stick right. There is some tenderness removing these daily to wash, but so far, no cumulative discomfort. No reaction to the sticky material. It does leave a little residue of sticky stuff on the perimeter you can easily rub off with a finger. Or scrub when you wash.

works great IN your shoe. Adhesive too strong for on the skin.
Don't put it directly ON your foot unless you plan on keeping it there for a LONG time. The directions say to put it on your foot, so I did and it worked great, relieving pain with my dance shoes. BUT, when I went to remove it, the adhesive is very strong and I had to take it off, little by little, holding the skin down as I went because it might have pulled the skin with it. So I placed it IN the shoe at the same place I had it on my foot. That worked great. Don't put it directly on the spot that hurts (under the ball of the foot), but an inch, inch & 1/2, or 2 inches back from the sore spot. Take your time removing the paper backing as it is a bit challenging but totally worth the amount paid, took away the pain and was JUST thick enough. They fit great. I bought both sizes since I wasn't sure which one would be better so I put the 1/4 inch on the really sore foot and the 1/8 inch on the other foot. Easy to walk in. Hopefully will be easy to dance in.

These worked great.
These worked extremely well for me. I placed them under the insole, just behind the painful area on the ball of my foot and the pain went away almost instantly. I saw a tip online to identify where on the insole you need to place the pad. Take the insole out. Put some (old) lipstick on the part of the ball of the foot that is painful. Step on the insole to transfer the lipstick to the same spot on the insole. Put a pin through the insole so you can see the location on the bottom of the . That way you know where to place the pad (just behind the spot you marked). I hope these work as well for you as they have for me. That pain will drive you nuts.

These are comfortable, do the job and stay put.

Work well, but flatten out quickly
I bought these to alleviate pain in the base of my second toe caused by displacement from a bunion. They work incredibly well! BUT... they flatten out so quickly, I have to replace them often. I will be going with a gel style next time in hopes of a longer lasting result. They are not cost effective if they need to be replaced in less than a week.

Felt Pads. Who knew?!!
I sold high end mens shoes while in college… waaaay back in the day. The days of #23, HRH Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Phil Jackson and Jerry Reinsdorf bought shoes I put on their feet. Although Phil’s feet were gastly. Looked more like some alien crustaceans that fell to earth 5Billion years ago. We could only do sandals. But he was a sandals kind of dude. Jerry, Mr. Reinsdorf walked in in his business attire after work, would sit down and want the same shoes he was wearing. I would bring them out and he would pass me his Platinum Amex, keep the shoes on and wear them out the door. If it weren’t for felt pads I stuck under the tongue of his $400 shoes, he would never have bought them. He was not one to have thick heels like his wallet so I would get an assist in gently applying the ever popular sale saver, the felt tongue pads. So, let me tell you when I spotted them for relieving my metatarsal issue I jumped. Ordered them, and OMG same as the tongue pads for shoes made in the eighties!! I adheared them to my running shoes insoles, Buddy wrapped my three buddy toes together and…. IT WAS A MIRACLE!! Perfect thickness, edged nicely so no discomfort and keeps my foot in position and absorbs the shock. They’re inexpensive and cheaper than buying new shoes or expensive ortho insoles. Just ask Jerry. Well maybe you shouldn’t. He’s now so old, he probably can’t remember what a basketball is. BUY THESE PADS!! You will be amazed at the relief they bring to feet with multiple uses. Even when your feet look like Alien Crustaceans that fell from the sky. If only I knew then how useful and necessary felt pads are. AND, they are great as a shoe polish applicator!
