Is this a 3 way componet set?

No just 2 6.5 inch woofers and 2 1 inch tweeters

If I buy these speakers would i need Full range speakers since i know theses are mid?

This is a component set. The mid woofer together with the tweeter create a "full range". The last component needed is a subwoofer. This set simply has separate pieces you see in a coaxial set. This allows better positioning and a more vibrant sound stage. Think of it like shampoo and conditioner versus a 2 in 1.

These are some really nice speakers. The heaviest magnets, similar to what you would find on an 8in sub. Great high and mid-range sound.
