Is this saw good for falling trees and cutting firewood

Based on my experience, it works well for trees up to about 2 1/2 ft in diameter but you need to rotate the tree if it is bigger than about 18 inches.  There are more powerful saws for professional use on big trees, but most homeowners will do fine with it.  It really comes down to how often you need a chainsaw.   I dropped an 18" tree and cut it to firewood length in one day.

I cannot get this to start. i am using the same fuel mix i use in two other poulan pro motors but this one just floods and wont start. any advice?

Hi Sean. The required fuel mix for this model could be different than the other two. Sometimes is 40:1, while some of our newer chainsaws require 50:1. It's a good idea to check the user manual that came with the product to be absolutely certain of the correct fuel+oil mix. You should have gotten a sample bottle of premixed fuel with purchase?
