10" Rust-Oleum Brands 989751 Varathane Water-Based Floor Applicator Pad

I had great luck cleaning and reusing on my floors. I was applying an Armstrong floor finish on luxury vinyl tile. Attached to my mop handle easily but there are lots of mop handle standards so make sure you check.

Needed to spread varnish and then clean excess.

I used this applicator to apply Varathane water based poly high traffic formula. I used the handle from a standard broom. The finish went on beautifully and once I got the hang of it I was able to get most edges effectively, only having to use a brush for a few right corners. I was very happy with the end result and the applicator allowed me to complete the job quickly without bubbles.

I don't recommend it. I encountered the same problem as another reviewer. I prepared the pad according to the instructions, but it still left lint behind. I threw it away and finished the job with a microfiber roller.

Worked well to apply a water based urethane floor finish on hardwood floors. One pad lasted to apply 3 coats to 3 bedrooms and a long hallway.y and is still usable. Cleaned up well.

Bought this and refills to apply Varathane 2X waterborne urethane to refinish oak floors. Washed and prepared them as instructed. Applied finish at recommend coverage however this applicator left "brush mark" lines especially if necessary to apply across the woods grain. These pads are much courser than lambs wool pads which are NOT recommend for waterborne urethane. Subsequent layers of the Varathane 2X applied with a good brush leveled out most of the pads marks and produced a nice finish. I have more floors to do so I'm going to try applying the first coat with a brush to seal the wood and produce a very smooth base and then try using the pad applicator for subsequent coats as my old knees can't take brushing 3000 square feet!

all though i did not use these as i ended up just using rollers i had. I returned for a refund which was painless. Item was exactly as described

First time DIY polyurethaning a painted floor. I bought and tried a Tbar and brush. None worked as well as this product. No streaks, fibers or bubbles. Worked great. Used an extra broom handle to spread the urethane.
