Zebra Pen STEEL M-701 Tactical Mechanical Pencil, 0.7mm Medium Point, 1-Pk

The Zebra M-701 has been my go-to writing instrument for years, and for good reason. Here's why I highly recommend it: Durability: The stainless steel barrel of this mechanical pencil is incredibly durable, making it ideal for everyday use. Despite its solid construction, it's surprisingly lightweight, which adds to its overall comfort. Plus, the sturdy design means it can withstand the occasional drop without any damage. Smooth Writing: The medium point 0.7mm lead provides a smooth and consistent writing experience. Whether I'm jotting down notes or sketching out ideas, the pencil glides effortlessly across the page, resulting in clean and precise lines every time. Comfortable Grip: The knurled metal grip of the M-701 offers a comfortable and secure hold, even during extended writing sessions. It prevents slipping and fatigue, allowing me to maintain control and focus on my work without any discomfort. Professional Appearance: The sleek stainless steel design gives this mechanical pencil a professional and sophisticated look. It's perfect for use in the office, classroom, or any setting where you want to make a polished impression. The only minor drawback is that the pencil is a bit heavier than some other models, which may not be to everyone's preference. However, I've found that the solid feel of the pencil actually adds to its durability and gives it a substantial, quality feel in hand. Overall, the Zebra Pen M-701 combines durability, reliability, and comfort, making it an excellent choice for anyone in need of a high-quality writing instrument. Whether you're a student, professional, or creative enthusiast, this pencil is sure to exceed your expectations.

This is the best pencil on the market! Since I'm a teacher and very particular about my writing utensils zebra is the only brand I will purchase. It has weight so you know it was made out of durable materials. Yet light enough that it won't hinder you from writing for a long periods of time. It's got an excellent price point, the lead is thicker which leads to less breakage and it writes smoothly. But my favorite feature is the etching cross hatching or whatnot that occurs around the front where your fingers go for grip it is just a fun texture this pencil is so much fun to write with!

For the price, it's actually great! Medium weight, comfortable in the hand, and I love the mechanism.

Love this. Seems well-made. Writes well. Comfortable in my hand. If I were designing this, would I have made the eraser a little bigger? Well, yes. Is that reason enough to give it less than five stars? Not at all.

If you're looking for a durable pen for home or field use, this pen will work well. It's not heavy or feather light and it grippy under dry or lightly damp conditions. It works well with Rite-in-the-rain paper or any paper for that matter. It's a mechanical pencil that takes standard lead refills. The eraser is something to be desired but I cross out a lot anyways when scratching down thoughts in a notebook. Not for carpentry, mechanical pencils and rough wood are not good friends, but for paper this will work. And if you drop it, its shiny, heavy and easy to stop and won't travel far and it will work afterwards. Highly recommended. Get 2 if you can.

Pros: 1. All stainless steel construction lends the pencil a durable look that has a pleasant heft to it 2. Notched grip for better hold 3. Writes smooth (uses standard .7 lead) 4. Makes a handsome addition to the Zebra F-701 retractable ballpoint pen Cons: 1. Changing leads is accessed through the metal cap covering eraser. I I found it can be difficult to remove 2. Erasers must be special ordered Overall this pencil should be a great addition to an professional desk. It would also make a great gift for a student in math or art classes. I purchased this for a nephew and he loves it. I recommend you purchase extra erasers online at Staples or here at Amazon. The pencil is sturdy, writes smoothly, and is sure to get you a compliment or two. At the listed price I doubt you can find a better value. Buy it and be satisfied.

This pencil is very durable and well built. It's my new favorite!

We've been extremely satisfied with these pencils. My kids needed new pencils for school and specifically wanted some without rubber grips as they tend to attract dirt and eventually break off. These checked all the boxes for us. They have functioned very well for us and all my kids keep telling me how much they like them!

Stabiler Druckbleistift.

great looking and performing product

La mina se agarra bastante firme a una distancia ideal, que permite escribir sin que se rompa pero si que sea muy cerca.

All metal pencil. Bought two of them to go in two EDC bags, to go with Zebra F701 Ballpoint Pens. Go great together, all metal, strong writes/draws well, feels good in the hand, not too heavy.

Very good mech pencil for fieldwork, SS ensures longetivity and durability
