These pencils are the best, hexagonal so lovely grip, gorgeous colours I keep mine in a big pencil case together and reorder when I can as they are not always available. I also keep an eye out for any new sets comming along. Honestly one of the best out there.

This is easily my favourite pencil brand by a country mile - the pencils are a joy to use and true to colour. They lay down pigment very smoothly, and have a lovely balance of soft blending without being crumbly. The Dragon set extends the collection more-veering into more sheer colour than offered by the pastel-rich Monarch set, and as such, are an excellent companion collection. The set is not measured for colour-fastness, but is perfect for a casual artist or amateur - they are easy to use, the coloured tabs on the barrels make for swift selection and very solid value for 36 pencils included in the set. While you may find yourself dipping into other sets for blue and cream tones, this is very easily and highly recommended. I cannot praise Medihealth 1 and the Black Widow range highly enough for their variety, quality and value.

I have been colouring for 5 years, I'm not an artist by any measure and I'm not particularly good at colouring, I have bought practically every cheapy set of pencils that have stated or been reviewed as soft and creamy over the years that I could find and have always been in some measure disappointed, until now. Finally a set of pencils at a reasonable price that do precisely what they say they do. Will they make me a great artist or colorist, not a chance but boy are they a pleasure to use. Coverage without calluses spot on, layering never tried but at least now I have the incentive. Thank you black widow now I have a hobby I really do enjoy.

Fabulous pencils great for blending too.

I have collected 5 of the Black Widow sets - Black Widow, Cobra, Scorpion, Monarch and now Dragon. This Dragon set is a great addition to the others and I now have every colour and shade I could wish for. The pencils are the usual high quality, with beautiful, vibrant pigments which are easy to lay down and layer. I highly recommend these and all of the Black Widow sets.

I have collected almost all of the Black Widow sets and have every colour I could possibly need! The pencils are vibrant and blend together well, I love that they are hexagonal shaped rather than round as this saves them rolling off the table. I have made colour swatch cards, the template for these can be downloaded from colour charts.com on Etsy, I can quickly see which colour I want. These pencils are perfect and are excellent value for money and I would 100% recommend them.
