These are the best skin prep/barrier films out there. They don't get all flakey like other brands. If they are good enough for preemie infants, they are good enough for me!

These Cavilon wipes work really well if you need a protective barrier that won’t irritate sensitive skin. The formula is completely alcohol‑free, so there’s no burning or stinging at all — even on delicate or already irritated areas. Each wipe is individually packaged and sterile, which makes them clean, convenient, and easy to use. The 1.0 mL amount is just right for applying a thin, even layer without feeling wasteful. Once it dries, it leaves a smooth, protective coating that helps reduce friction and keeps adhesives from causing irritation. They’re especially helpful for people who react to tapes, dressings, or medical devices. If you need a gentle, reliable skin‑barrier wipe that actually lives up to the “no sting” promise, these are an excellent choice.

I think these are the best barrier wipes of all the different ones I've tried. They are no-sting, which I noticed with other brands don't seem to work as well as the regular ones containing alcohol, but these work better for me than even the regular ones by other brands. Be prepared with wet wipes nearby because they are very sticky and you will need to wipe your fingers before handling any of your other supplies. I use them with ostomy bag. My output is very watery and makes it difficult for my supplies to stick to me for long. These did help with that but, more importantly, this product protected my skin very, very well even when I had leaks that I wasn't able to change right away and the output sat against my skin for several hours. I expected very open, raw, sore skin and was happily surprised to find my skin in good condition. My bigger problem was open and sore skin from having to change my supplies frequently ... like super gluing stuff to my skin and then ripping it off again over and over. These wipes did not burn at all and protected my skin well enough that it helped my skin heal when I could go a day or two without having to change my stuff because of leaks. Highly recommend this product.

Great product for spouse medical situation

I was using this with my insulin infusion set because I have to change it every two days and my skin was getting raw. Now I also use it between my skin and plastic on my new PEG and it has helped it heal faster than I thought it would.
