Best, warmest gloves on the market. They run very small!
Love these gloves! Bought to replace an older pair that I lost last ski season. I thought I would fit in a medium since my hands were on the smaller side of the range (actually, the sizing guide shows me at the high end of size small), but the medium was super cramped and uncomfortable. For reference, my hands are 8.25" girth around the knuckles and 7.75" long, and I have pretty skinny fingers. Maybe the medium would have packed out and felt larger at the end of a season, but it was hard to move my fingers and each one felt squeezed. The large feels snug as well. I tried many different pairs of gloves on the mountain before settling on my first pair of these. They are incredibly warm, even on the coldest days. There's no room for hand warmers, but you won't need them. The cuffs fit inside my coat sleeves, which have adjustable Velcro, so with that setup you get a good snow-proof and airtight seal. The leather is tough and durable, and shouldn't tear as long as you are just skiing/riding and not using these for work gloves. There's also a little soft suede area to wipe your runny nose.

Great gloves
These gloves have been great in the snow with dropping temperatures. Super warm and dexterity is what you would expect with a winter glove.

WARNING!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT use the wax that comes with gloves. The gloves where great until i applied the wax packet that comes with the gloves, it completely ruined the gloves. WHY would they send and recommended applying the wax. It discolored and stained the gloves. I spent hours buffing and trying to remove the wax the part of gloves that are not leather are stained and the leather now looks dull . The gloves are good but do not apply the wax packet that comes with gloves.

Warm. Excellent
Easy on and off, very warm, and very functional, with excellent wrist coverage. I have owned many gloves and mitts for skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering and these are the best.

Expensive famous brand cheats on sizing.
I bought these gloves because I do a lot of mountain trekking and I needed a heavy duty WARM glove. I have excellent mittens but they tend to be much less dexterous. Black Diamond is supposed to be a trusted good quality brand. These were way too SMALL. I measured my hands and ordered the appropriate size, but I could barely get my hands into them. The quality didn't seem to be very good either. RETURNED them and I thank Amazon for their wonderful return policy. It went smoothly and didn't cost me anything.

Not Warm gloves.
Not as cold hardy as advertised. I purchased these to use in extreme cold conditions. They are rated for -15-0 degrees. The first time I used them was in 20 degree weather, snow, wind. I was able to make it about 45 minutes before my finger tips were so numb I could feel my fingers starting to throb. The gloves were dry and the dexterity was felt breaking into the gloves. The next time I wore them was -21 degrees out. I know this exceeded what they were rated for but hell why not give them a good test. I was able to make it about 5 minutes in the driveway wilderness, running a snowblower before I had to shut down the machine and race to the inside. I have worn them in milder 28-degree weather and they worked somewhat. They are dry, the dexterity is good especially the more they are worn and break in, they just not warm especially for anything below freezing, and thus for the money they cost definitely not worth the money. I have some old gauntlet Cabela gloves for duck hunting that are way way way warmer than these and those are a fraction of the price but still not designed for extreme cold. I bought these specifically to withstand very extreme cold and the failed before getting to the temps I was wanting them for. Very disappointed.

I'd read all about the warmest (non-battery powered) ski gloves in the world, Black Diamond Guide (Pro series), then I found them reasonably priced on Amazon (AUD$160 or USD$105), so I took the plunge. And boy am I happy that I did. After skiing my entire life (I'm 50) with middle of the road gloves, I decided to spend some money on my hands, which can tend to get frosty on super cold days, or sitting on the chair lift in a blizzard. Not any more ** These things are seriously warm** I bought a LARGE as I'm usually a MEDIUM and that was a great choice too. I did read they were stiff at the start, but that's not true at all. As soon as you liberally apply the waterproof wax (which comes with these gloves in a sachet) the gloves are soft and supple. I used the whole sachet in one go. I've got 4 pairs of very average gloves, which sadly cost more than these gloves. Do it. You'll wonder why you waited so long. I'm a slow learner sometimes...

I ride my bicycle to work in sub-zero celsius weather and could not find gloves that would keep my hands warm. I have poor circulation and skinny fingers, so keeping my hands warm is a difficult task. These do the trick. And I have no trouble changing gears and using the brakes with the gloves on. They are so well made that it's a pleasure to wear them every time.
