Can you use this to color entire head of hair not just to cover some greys

Yes I use it on my roots all the time. It has not caused me chemical burns, don't let those comments scare you. Do a test patch first if anything.

Does this product contains PTD?

I'm allergic to PPD and this product worked well for me - no allergic reactions. Sorry, I don't know if the structurally related PTD to PPD is present in this product.
