Men's Linen Flat Ivy Gatsby Summer Newsboy Hats

Great quality, good fit, great value! Good summer weight. I own three in different colors and they are my favorite go to caps.

People might find this hard to believe but, this is absolutely one of the best ivy caps I’ve ever found. I have a bit of a collection of Kangol Tropic line hats. I had a great ivy cap back in the late 90’s made of a lite material with a BUTTON brim not sewn. Lost it and have been searching ever since. That should give you & idea of how rare they are. They have great wool ones and heavier materials. If you find one that’s good for summer, the brim is sewn. This hat, button brim, giving you more options in wearing it, open or closed. Made with a beautiful light, but not cheap, Linen. Similar hats will run around $60 and I have always gone with the idea of, “you get what you pay for” Some things you can’t cheap out on, and if you do, you’ll get a crap hat with shoddy construction that falls apart after one summer. So I was skeptical about this hat to say the least but since I’ve been searching for one for so long I just decided, go for it. This is easily equivalent to a$40-$60 hat and I’m very happy with it. I will update if it falls apart but based on look and stitching I don’t see that happening. Oh, and the lining is gorgeous.

Nice and light, fit well. But “olive” for this product is beige, really. Terrible photo-match. I would buy one or two more, give it 5 stars, but I don’t know what will arrive.

My favorite style hat. Bought 3 bc i have dogs that still eat things. Good quality, quite breathable. However, under the intense summer sun in the Mojave high desert, these black hats do tend to fade. However, nothing a little bit of clothes dye can't help with. These hats are *NOT* one size fits all.

I'm really not sure what to make of clothing manufacturers anymore. Why do they think I wish to be an ad for them? Unless I am trying to show off my purchasing power, which is hardly the case here. Anyway, the hat arrived in a bit of a wrinkly state. (I hope the photos display suitably.) I am tossing it in the dryer on low heat with a wet towel, which seems to be working. But these notes: 1. It seems to fit well enough, both size-wise (I usually wear a "large") and on my head in general -- that is, enough head room and the back low enough on my skull to stay on. 2. It says 100% cotton, but it does feel like stiffish plasticy material. We shall see how it wears over time. 3. The little tag on the side is crazy. I do not want to advertise Epoch; and the blasted thing spins around, displaying upside down : yes, I am cool as you can see! Removing it was problematic, having a large button on the back, and after doing so a hole was left in the material where they punched it through. 4. I was able to decipher the verbiage on the paper tag in the hat, and will share that if you wish. Not sure I would buy another one, just because of that Epoch pin. Edit 2019-11-08 : Three further observations : 1. That 100% Cotton makes a difference (it's not linen). I think of linen as being summer-wear, and bought the hat accordingly. (I wear fedoras in the winter.) This hat is hot in the summer, no air circulation at all. That's a negative. 2. Someone asked about the bill, if it snapped to the top. (It does.) What I then realized is that there's a plate of sorts inside that keeps the top from pulling back and showing the snap. That happens on a number of similar hats I have, and I think it looks bad. This hat does not pull back. See pix. That's a positive. 3. While the pricing says $5 - $19, there's only one hat @ $5, the white Small. The rest are >$12. That strikes me as being slightly deceptive. Similar to the material misinformation. So I'll keep the rating at 3 Stars.

I love these hats. They are a sophisticated formal look when you like wearing a hat but can't wear a ball cap and aren't a cowboy. Tommy Shelby approved.

Ive been very happy with the hats I have purchased over the last 3 years the exact fit when it says extra large and overall quality of the hats.

I bought this hat a few months ago and I love it! It was my favorite hat and one of the best fitting hats I've owned. Unfortunately, I lost it, but I decided it was worth reordering. The replacement hat was identical to the first in design and branding, but the material was completely different. This is advertised as linen (which my first purchase was), but the one I received was made of cheap synthetic material that was very unpleasant to the touch and had a weird shine and smell. I returned it immediately. I would like to get another linen cap, but I can't trust this brand anymore.

Fits well, looks good, and top quality. Has a nice lining. Great summer hat.

These hats are made with attention to details. They are really nice.

El material del producto es de buena calidad, sin embargo la textura del mismo luce diferente comparado con la foto del vendedor. Los colores difieren un poco, siendo muy notable la diferencia en el verde olivo y el azul oscuro. El tamaño es holgado, aún en la talla pequeña. Los acabados son buenos y no tiene hilos sobresalientes que deban cortarse. El acabado interior es bueno y cuenta con un remate para dar firmeza así como con un forro que facilita el mantener limpio el exterior de sudoración o aceites capilares. Práctico y bien hecho. Muy recomendable!

This is my second Epoch cap and I’m very happy with it. The sizing is accurate and the quality and workmanship are excellent. I’ll be back for more.
