Super simple to put together and pretty sturdy. It held two full sized flags in a decent breeze for a parade.

So, the listing claims this flagpole is automotive rated. I cannot begin to put into words my disappointment when this flagpole failed. On the first day of use, I secured the flagpole to my hitch mount, and started going down the road. During town driving, the pole worked just fine. Upon hitting the highway on ramp, I heard a loud snap and looking in my rear view mirror. The *plastic* clips that hold the flag to the pole had broken, and the pole itself was swinging around like crazy! I pulled onto the shoulder to inspect the damage. Thankfully the flag was still attached and fine. But, not only were the clips broken, the flagpole had bent significantly. I hadn't even hit 50 mph when this happened. So, if your definition of "Automotive Rated" is 30 mph and below, this flagpole would work great for you. But for people who actually plan to get anywhere on time, this flagpole will bring you nothing but disappointment. It's a shame, really. I had bought two flagpoles, hoping to fly two flags on the back of my vehicle. I resorted to building my own flagpoles using materials from Home Depot. Steel plumbing pipe works great, if anyone plans to build their own. The flagpole itself is made from paper-thin aluminum. It folded like a blanket before I hit highway speed. The clips that attach the flag to the pole are made of plastic. This flagpole would be more suited for home use. It's disgustingly misleading to market this as an automotive rated flagpole.

I am impressed with this flagpole unfortunately it's a little large for the bracket outside my house so I can't use it currently but it seems very well made it's a decent price and very easy to assemble if you're looking for a flagpole with this particular dimensions I would recommend this brand

Good flagpoles that withstand inclement weather they do not get hung up or twisted at all I mainly wanted one for my camper. Got the two pack, one stays in the camper one at the house.

After a couple usages this flag pole kit flexed and now has a bend. I purchased another of these for a spare and consider this as an expendable item if it totally fails
