It was great, great popcorn popper!!!

I gave this as a gift to my daughter on her birthday. It was larger than expected and very easy to use. We set it up immediately following the well written directions. It looks wonderful just like one you might see at the theatre. We were popping corn in no time and it worked very well. It only takes a few minutes for hot and fresh popcorn. The popping kettle is easily removable so you can clean it easily.

3rd times the charm. I ordered this for us to use at Christmastime. The first one I received, I opened it up thankfully, to look at it before Christmas. The plexiglass side was broken! So I sent it back and ordered another. 2nd time, another one was sent, broken plexiglass side!! No way! What the heck!? So I kept it until the next one arrived, and then sent the 2nd one back. (Just in case they try to send me the same one again, I don't know their process). The 3rd one works like a charm. Super easy to use (see photos and video -- the video is of the 3rd one that works perfectly! The other two photos are of the other two items, broken!)

I bought this for my daughter for her new house and her basement and she loves it and it makes pretty good popcorn.

This machine makes having popcorn 🍿 really fun. It works great and I just love it! Treat it gently and it will last! Wipe it down after use and you are all good. I didn't see that it had a non stick basket. I am not happy with this coating. I don't have in house birds but still there is no reason to put this toxic coating on any part of the machine. I am grateful that the popcorn does not sit very long in the basket.

Purchased machine, put it together and used it, after a while some minor issues kept popping up. Popping lid - After the first 6 months, it would no longer magnetize itself to the top of the machine so that you can empty the kettle. Kettle - Would sometimes come off the hinge on the left side of the machine, almost unplugging the kettle's hotplate wire from the ceiling. Kettle Latch - Would sometimes unlatch for no apparent reason, or would sometimes refuse to latch. at one point we were latching and unlatching before the outside lever would fix itself. This happened enough times that we ended up having to throw out the plastic liner in the kernel collection area due to melting from hot oil. Be very careful about the oil and kernels used, had a very tough time keeping the machine clean, the butter flavored soy oil hardened, and became nearly impossible to remove, and the popcorn kernels we were using would sometimes not pop, just sit in the kettle and burn due to either no oil, or inconsistent heat, I'm not sure which, I just know that out of 1/2 cup of kernels, not all of them would pop As most of this machine is made out of plastic, it will warp very easily due to the heat produced during popping and letting the finished product sit in the hopper. Magnet keeping the door closed, wouldn't latch anymore. Hopper at bottom, plastic hinges on sides warped inward, and dropped off the machine, only time it would stay is when completely closed and holding the door shut.
