Review: Great for struggling readers - I love these books for kids that arenโt interested in reading or for struggling readers. Kids can read them over and over and over helping with fluency, comprehension and enjoyment. Review: Perfect for 4/5 Year Old - This is perfect for my 5 year old. We have had other choose your adventure books that were too dull or a little too advanced/scary, but this book was just right. We read this book until he pretty much had every choice memorized. Definitely recommend!

Great memories for me. Solid option for the kids.
Nostalgia for me. Piqued curiosity for the kids 4 and 3). Some of the endings were a little scary for littles.

Amazing book for kids
Best choose your own adventure for kids weve gotten. Its easy to read so my 4 year old is picking up small 2-3 letter words and reading with me. She has already memorized and quotes parts of the book. This is our 6th book we have thats choose your own adventure, spanning multiple authors and I think this one is the best written for little kids aged 3-6. Id definitely recommend it to friends and would love to check out more books by this author in the future for her! I have 0 complaints.

Our 6-year-old absolutely devoured these!!
My husband grew up with choose your own adventure books and once our son started to learn to read at school we were burning through books left and right and weren't really purchasing any books except for going to the library. These books my son has read for months over and over because each different choice leads you into a different storyline.

Great choose your own adventure book
Bought this for my 7yr old and what a great find to have a choose your own adventure about a robot! So many fun and wild stories in there that even an adult would enjoy with the imagination used to write this book. A timeless classic!

Too many negative endings for a little child.
I purchased this book for a five year old little boy based on the positive reviews. The book is rated for 5 to 8 year old. After receiving the book, I checked the endings beforehand to make sure they're appropriate, and they are not positive. One ending has the boy turned into a robot and stuck on an alien planet. Another storyline has a junk man screaming to the boy and his robot that "I am going to mash you and your robot to bits". Another storyline ends with the robot shutting himself down because he can't fly anymore, despite the boy efforts. Another storyline end with the boy and robot in jail and the robot groans to the boy "I WISH YOU HAD LEFT ME IN THE TRASH ... AT LEASE THE FOOD WAS GOOD". Such negativity is not appropriate or necessary for a five year old child.

Great fun, easy to read & well illustrated
Great for beginners or any children aged between 6 and 9 who are new to the Choose Your Own Adventure concept. I brought this book for my 8 year old son, it is easy for him to read as it has large print, not too much text and lots of bright and colourful pictures. In this story, your character finds a broken robot in the trash and has to make various decisions about how to repair it and then what adventure to have with the robot. The book has 69 pages and there are 12 possible endings. The story is fun and exciting and my son loves choosing different stories depending on what page he turns to. The only negative is that it is an American book and therefore refers to mom & dad and uses $ instead of ยฃ. The author is the same RA Montgomery who wrote the choose your own adventure books back when I was a child and he still writes exciting fast paced action packed stories. I will definitely be getting some more of these.

It's really funny, I wonder what happens next?
I like when he flies into the sky. It's better than other books because it's got little stories in each one and you can go to different pages. The only thing that could be better is if it had more stories in it. Francis age 6
