It's just okay.......
So this was my first time trying freeze dried fruit. I was really looking forward to seeing what all the hype was on freeze drying fruit. I love dehydrated fruit and such, so I figured with my love of fruit these would bring me great joy. Unfortunately the hype of freeze dried fruit is not what I expected. I started with my favorite fruit, peaches. The whole bag was very small, I didn't realize how expensive this was. I found a few pieces to have a terrific peach flavor, but mostly they reminded me of if you ate a cosmetic sponge. No flavor and spongy. I then tried apples. This had more flavor but it's just not enjoyable like dehydrated fruit. This will last longer for sure. It's not sticky and if you mix it into granola or make a trail mix it works great. I highly recommend mixing them into things to elevate the fruit. I wish they didn't cost so much and I'm looking into buying a machine to freeze dry and dehydrate my own things to cut down on the cost. I have a dehydrator and love making jerky. I'll get myself a freeze dryer and dehydrator for fruit. Again, these are fine but very expensive and work better being mixed into something else. I love fruit so that's why I'm giving a 3 star instead of it being lower.

Tastes Like Cardboard
It was time to try the new box of Freeze Dried Fruit that came the other day. Most of the packages inside looked like they had been through a rough spell in the box. Opened 1 item and they were not in tact just really broken up and the taste was like cardboard with no flavor whatsoever. Will not be buying this brand again.
