Q: Will this fit the vegtrug raised bed herb garden?

The cover fits my small vegtrug perfectly; if the herb garden has the same dimensions, it will fit.

Q: Will the PE cover help protect from hard rains?

Yes. This material is tough. The rains here in the Pacific Northwest are still pretty heavy through April. My two covers have made it through Highwinds and hard rain twice since purchasing.

Q: Does this protect from squirrels

I love my veggie grub and have it in the back yard near my back door. I have lots of squirrels but have never seen them in or near my plants. When I start, I use a cover made for the VGT. After the veggies are a good size, I take the cover off. The only thing I have to worry about is worms/moth like creatures - no squirrels. Hope this helps.
