Looks amazing (lighter and brighter than expected)
There is a full build video on you tube which I highly reccomend as a couple of the instructions may not be clear to people without a mechanical background but this said, the model is generally good for people of all skill levels. The model looks great when completed and the light provides a clean white light (not like the yellow lights I have seen in photos). The final mechanism is a bit stiff in places but overall, it's a great feature which provides a good level of light. All electronic components are included except the plug which is a standard USB phone charging plug. I have enjoyed making this and it took about 7-8 hours. Lots of parts and felt like an achievement to finish.

These are well made
I gave this 5 stars because of a previous purchase from the same manufacturer. However, this one is a present and has not been opened yet. It did arrive on time and undamaged but the postage label was stuck on the box. I find these items enjoyable but a little expensive. They are well made with good instructions

Great but the light is broken
I would of given this a 5 star. My husband really enjoyed making this and looks great, however the light is broken and doesn't work. UPDATE Contacted customer services sending out replacement part free if charge, so cant complain.

Very well made.
Very good working model, all parts fit perfectly no glue needed, instructions are good. Any keen modeller would enjoy this, but It isn't quick, I haven't built a model of any kind for about 30 years and it took me about 8 hours all in and only swearing a few times.

Cheap materials, not worth the money
While the finished product looks attractive in photos, the wood is laser printed on flimsy hardboard. This resulted in much of the frame snapping even with the lightest touch. The instructions weren't 100% straight forward either, this coming from someone who loves a good puzzle. I was sadly extremely disappointed with this item as I'd been toying with buying it for months. Definitely not worth the £40 paid! Lesson learned.
