High quality OEM replacement! Caution using with Edelbrock intakes (you can use it, but requires extra work).
Identical or better than the factory version. Very high quality. I only had to file down the parting line at the top of the hose inlet because I am nit picky. Bolts right on and works like a charm. Note: for some reason, some Edelbrock performer intake manifolds may not quite match up to the bypass side of this water neck. If that happens, simply cut a metal gasket out of galvanized sheet metal and use it in between the manifold and this water outlet/water neck. Cut the bypass hole so it fits the intake, but cut the metal gasket so it fits the water outlet. Silizone both sides and don't forget your thermostat! Don't be like me and just goob silicone on this without making a metal gasket and then expect it to seal to an Edelbrock intake! Note: I didn't or couldn't find a water neck that fit for my Van and the intake without leaking. Edelbrock tech may also have other ideas.

Awesome for the price
replaced the oem waterneck on my 95 Mustang GTS with one of these, primarily was after the npt port to add a coolant temp switch. The finish on this was better than the castings from Ford and fit perfectly, and NO leaks

Ford 5.0L/302W Foxbody Mustang - This is the one!
As a couple others have said, this is the one and is a great T-stat housing for the 5.0L/302W engines (great for Foxbody Mustang gear heads) as it is drilled/tapped for a 3/8" NPT sensor or the like (electric fan use) plus the housing casting is almost identical to the OEM casting. Most importantly, this casting is a MEX or Mexican casting which is MUCH better than the Chinese version. The Mexican casting has the correct bypass hose fitting alignment to the lower intake manifold, the Chinese casting does not and will leak. The Chinese casting is sold under the Murray name so I would advise against wasting any time with that housing, stick with this one. The four seasons MEX casting is the one in the middle in the attached pics, factory Ford OEM on the left and the horribly casted Murray Chinese casting in the right.

It's good............ probably
It seems fine, the quality of the aluminum looks to be okay. The gasket would probably be fine but I always recommend getting a felpro gasket instead of using the sticker type gasket this comes with. The issue is that it didn't fit correctly on my '85 Ford 150 with a 351w. The bolt holes line up fine but the angle for the upper radiator hose it way off. So I didn't use it and just grabbed one from the parts store.

Water Outlet For Old Explorer
This part is well built. I recommend for old Fords.

It worked, No leaks
99 Explorer 5.0L. Used it with a felpro gasket and RTV sealant (per Ford service manual), snugged down the bolts, waited an hour for the sealant to partially cure, torqued the bolts to 15 ft lbs, waited 24 hours to refill system. Filled the system. started the engine. let it warm up. No leaks. Went for a 5 mile test ride. No leaks. Only 4 stars because it didn't "appear" to have the same durability appearance as the Ford RH-37 OEM part.

Great part, great price. Has look and feel of original
Fit perfect, unsure why Amazon said it would not fit my 98 explorer with 5.0 in it. This is identical to original except there is a plug on the top allowing a temperature sensor, doubles as a way to bleed air on install.
