This is a great carrier......
This is a great carrier. I also own the Sherpa on wheels and this one is far superior. This carrier is roomier and very lightweight. It is also built sturdier than the Sherpa. The zippers and fabric are much more substantial. The wheels turn on a dime and are very easy to attach/detach. It is also nice that it is expandable. I have not yet used it for airline travel but that is the plan. So far I have gotten my puppy comfortable being in it with lots of treats. My only concern is that my puppy will grow too large but that is not any fault of the carrier. So far my puppy is about 14 lbs and he fits pretty good laying down. Fingers crossed he doesn't grow too much more.

Helpful but a little awkward
I needed to bring my old chihuahua mix dog on a flight with me, so I got this carrier because it was supposed to fit under the seat, and I liked the wheels feature (so my back wouldn't be destroyed after carrying her all day on my shoulder). Here are the good things: it does fit under the seat on the airplane (in 2023 at least), but BARELY. It's a super tight squeeze to get it under there, but you can. You'll have to remove the wheels frame and store that overhead though. Also, the sides expand out, so when you're in the terminal waiting around, you can give your pet a little more breathing room. It's also really convenient to have your pet securely rolling along behind you in the busy terminals, and you don't have to struggle with a heavy shoulder bag while you're rushing to a gate. The not-so-good: She's only about 15-16 pounds, but she's got longer legs I guess, and this carrier was pretty small for her. I had to make her lie down to get the top closed, so she was squished in there when I had to board. I did unzip the top once we were in the terminal, and even once we were in the air (no one seemed to mind) so she could pop her head out. Secondly, the wheels on this thing... it's like they move all around independently, and it was difficult to pull along right behind me like you would luggage. It kept drifting all over the place, so I'd have to lock my wrist tight to keep it behind me. Lastly, it's a little awkward to take the carrier off the wheel frame and put back on, especially if you try to do that on the plane. It's best to take the carrier off the frame before boarding and put back on in the terminal. So you do have to be able to carry the dog in those situations. Overall, I'm really happy I got this because it did what I needed it to. If I could make any changes, it would be to add the expandable panel to the top of the carrier, so the dog could have her head up but still be zipped in while in the terminal. Also, those wheels need some better structure. But it's well made and held up great over the trip.

BEST CARRIER EVER!!!!!
If I could get it 100 stars I would. The best carry I have Ever bought!!!! Big enough for my 2 cats together or my one small dog. I love that the inside you can unzip and wash. VERY easy to roll around. Even if you go in circles with it. Definitely worth the money!!

Great quality. Size is exactly 17x13x11.5”
I think the quality the bag and the design is all excellent. I love the detachable cart, the quality of the materials, the padded interior and the rigid frame that holds its shape even when you zip open the mesh areas. I loved how much space my dog could have with the expanded sections, and the ease of accessing any part of the bag as needed. The only problem is that it’s advertised as 11” wide, but is actually 13” wide at the base, making it a risk to try to take it on a flight without being turned away at the gate. I fly on American Airlines, and the posted size for pet carriers is 18x11x11. Trying to get on a flight with a pet carrier that has a very rigid frame that can’t be squeezed smaller than 13” wide puts me at the mercy of whichever gate agent is making decisions on that day. I can’t risk ruining a trip because my pet carrier was 2” too large. That’s why I have to return it. If it actually was 11“ x 11“ this would definitely be my bag of choice. I think it’s a great price for the value, the weight, the expanding sections, and the rolling frame.

Best Carrier overall
This is absolutely the best pet carrier for our mini poodle, 10 pounds. It’s the perfect perfect size and the wheels and handle make it so easy in the airport. Thank you cozy cruiser.

Works great.
When this arrived I thought no way was the airline going to approve our using it for a carry on for our shih tzu. It is slightly larger than the approved sizes that the main carriers mention. But they didn't give me any problem with it. The carrier is plenty roomy, and I love the opening sides for the wait times in the terminal between flights. It goes on and off the pull cart pretty easily, and rolls nicely. I was worried about under the seat fit, but the soft top collapses a bit and actually wasn't a problem. It actually fit better on the puddle jumper plane than the larger jet. Tip - you need to take it off the pull cart before going on the plane. The aisles are too tight to handle disconnecting it at your seat. The pull cart does fold up well and fits in the overhead compartment. I like it.

WRONG MEASUREMENT - it is 13” WIDE
It’s a good carrier but NOT 11” wide. It’s bigger than it says it is. 13” I’m surprised Amazon doesn’t flag them for false info.

Our mini 22 lb poodle fits fine.
Our poodle is docile, just under 23 lbs and he fits fine and he will be comfortable for a short flight of under 3 hours. He will be grooms and nails trimmed prior to the trip. IMO the zippers and netting could be of a heavier grade so only 4 stars. The rollers glide easily, even on a low pile carpet. The case attaches by a Velcro type flap that holds the case securely to the rack. I find it easier to attach the two sections prior to putting the animal in the case, and separate the case from the rack just prior to boarding. (I find it less cumbersome to separate and attach when empty.)
