Signature Shirt Stays for Men: 1 Set of 2 Shirt Stay - Premium Long-Lasting Shirt Stays

Well, these lasted *almost* 11 months of frequent use. I wore these at least 5 days a week, every week since getting them so I've definitely put them through a serious stress test, but I have to say I'm still a little disappointed that they broke even in that amount of time as they are a little pricier than some of the other options on the market. As many people have suspected, it was the plastic nob failing that is leading me to have to retire them, but it is actually the second failure I've run into. A few months back, the wire portion on one clamp pulled apart and separated the entire clip; however, I was able to bend them back into place with a pair of pliers and continue using them. I also believe this was on me, as I was originally pulling upward on the straps themselves to help clamp them into place, and I'm guessing this is what led to the metal stretching apart rather than just normal wear-and-tear, as I've used my thumb to push the nob through since and haven't had any stretching issues. My favorite thing about them, though, is that I had zero problems with them rusting during their lifetime! Every other set I've tried always rusts and, worse yet, cuts into my leg. These hardly ever so much as pulled a hair on my leg. I also had a minimal number of incidents where they lost their grip while I was wearing them, compared to the frequent slips I'd experience from the alligator clamp style. These also have a much lower profile under the pant than the alligator clip style, which matters at times when you're sitting down. Ultimately for me, these positives outweigh the negatives of other options, so I'm guessing I'll probably wind up ordering them again. Hopefully, the next pair lasts longer! UPDATE 06.20.18: After posting this review, Tom Eckard, the owner, reached out to me and offered to replace it for free. He acknowledged that they should have lasted longer and wanted to send a new set to remedy the issue. I did, in fact, receive the replacement set just a little while ago and they are working perfectly. Although the previous pair's failure was a bit disappointing, having a working set reminds me again of why these are so much better than the alternative. To add to that, this outstanding customer service is, to me, the missing piece that bumps the review up from 4/5 to 5/5. I'll be sure to update again if I need to, but I'm excited to see how this new pair holds up. Thanks Tom! UPDATE 03.01.19: Unfortunately, it looks like pair number two didn't last quite as long. Just like last time, the point of failure was right around the plastic nob on the clamp. While the failure is again disappointing, I can't stress enough how these are otherwise superior to any alternatives I've tried! Perhaps your team might want to consider ways to reinforce the integrity of the plastic on the clamp, but I will never go back to the alligator clips! Between the better design and outstanding customer service after the last incident, I will happily be ordering a replacement pair.

Use these everyday for work! Best way to keep your dress shirt tucked and looking nice. Prevents the horribleness looking muffin top. Only down side is using the bathroom. You can't really use them and take a number 2 and it's a hassle to take them off to do so. You can work around this though! Great material and clips keep the shirt held down without slipping unclipling during the day at the office! Update: Clips are beginning to not keep the shirt locked therefore the shirt unclips throughout the day. Questioning the longevity of this item. Update 12/6/2017 (almost 2 years from Original purchase) After almost 2 years of daily use as I wear suits for work. One of the clips have broken. I contacted fancy boy and they assisted me quickly. I am very happy with there amazing product that would last much longer if you didn’t use these everyday, but also the great customer care! I will continue to use these shirt stays for years! The fabric of your shirts and socks WILL matter--if they are cheaper / thinner materials, they could rip. Mine didn't, but I can tell the clasps but stress on my clothes. Socks definitely stay up! (at an angle, obviously, but you can't tell when the top of the sock is covered by pants) Shirts stay tucked in. If you stretch your arms up, the shirt will come loose--not *as* loose as without these, but DON'T expect your shirt to stay exactly as-is when you first put them on. I didn't mind the way it looked when loosened--I liked it, actually--but if you're hoping that there will be crisp clean lines no matter how you move, I can't say these will achieve that. I was worried about chaffing when I first put them on, but no chaffing (YAY). I tuned them out fairly soon, but if you're on the more-sensitive side (skin, stimulation, etc)--may want to consider different options. I consistently felt as though something was in my pockets--but no, just the straps under my pants. I'm an NB-F at 5ft 4.5in, and these were fairly easy to adjust. They could easily be adjust for much-shorter-people AND much-taller-people alike. The straps are stretchy, too, so even when fully extended--you still have wiggle room. BEST PART: going to the bathroom is so much faster. You don't have to re-tuck your shirt at ALL, and it's a very (VERY) minimal amount of time to re-adjust once your pants are back up. I'm talking less than 7 seconds to make everything look nice. This alone is my favorite aspect of these, and the precise reason I'll recommend them to everyone. (Although I'm considering looking at 3-shirt-clasps + 1-sock, or 1-shirt + 1-sock clasps to see if those options would reduce the amount of loosening that happens when you move around) The time saved getting out of the bathroom is a game changer for me. 9/10 recommend, and if you don't mind a little loosening-of-the-shirt-when-you-move: 10/10

I purchased this product with the expectations to keep my shirt tucked in. It was a hassle to run to the restroom and quickly military tuck my shirt in to no avail right before a presentation. I did extensive research online to find that the round grips work extraordinarily well. The fabric is pretty comfortable on the skin and does not leave you with scratches at the end of the day. The grips are delicate to your shirt fabric and will not tear. This product is very durable; I wear these about 5 times a week and hasn't given me any problems. All in all, absolutely a great product and well worth the money compared to other flimsy product out there.

The plastic clips that hold your shirt and socks are very soft and lose their shape too easily. As a result they will loose grip on my shirt multiple times a day and fall down my pant leg. It’s also very difficult to adjust the leg length shorter once it’s been set longer. Spend a little extra money and get a pair of shirt stays with metal clips until this product gets better materials.

Worked great until one of the sock clasps pulled apart. Good solution to your shirt riding up, but there's wasn't much stress on them when the clasp went.

Perfect, exactly what I ordered

These are excellent shirt stays and lasted me from December 2022 to August 2024. The plastic knob at the sock attachment on one leg tore and began scratching my leg to an unbearable degree, forcing me to retire them. However, I will be adding another pair to my cart!

Very sturdy and comfortable

I bought these to keep socks up rather than a shirt tucked in; specifically, a pair of Therm-ic heated socks, where the weight of the batteries tends to bring the socks down. As I read elsewhere they need clipping towards the front of the shirt to work best, so try a few positions to see which works for you. This is a well made product, with what I consider to be superior rubber/metal clips, which are secure and don’t damage the clothing they are attached to. I had a good look at the cheaper alternatives, and I do feel the higher price well worth it.

Great product. It simply works! Once they are on, the tailored look and fit will last all day long. No more dreading sitting down to end up looking like you just survived a car crash when you stand up. The material is soft and comfortable, you forget you are wearing them almost immediately. A bit challenging to put on the first time, but no big deal.

The reviews are accurate: these do exactly what they’re supposed to do! -discreet -strong -effective Caution: the slider clips are so effective, you could damage your shirt if you pull on the shirt cloth rather than the slider itself. This happened to me with one of my older shirts, which was already experiencing some tears in other places. Also, if you are very long of leg like me (34 inseam), shorter socks and shirts are going to push the comfortable limits of these stays. They won’t come undone, you’ll just feel the tug around your neck, especially if wearing a tie. Note that these are designed for dress shirts and socks. Anything thicker might well compromise the clips. Pro tip: wear the stays with the metal fittings against your body rather than facing the clothing. Renders them nearly invisible.
