Wonderful quality and value! I am inspecting coatings and corrosion on interior of treated 1" to 3" pipes: forward camera allows you to find points of interest, side cameras give direct view and lighting of the interior surfaces. Pictures are very clear, showing any imperfections in the interior finish. Focal range is narrow but perfect for my use: 30-100mm front, 20-60mm side a, 10-25mm side b. Perfect for our 1" and 3" interior spaces. 1280x720 screen and video resolution: very clear. Photos are 1920x1080. I attempted this with a 640x480 unit, no chance. This is the best tool for the job, great price, no learning curve. Turn it on and it works beautifully. Plug usb cable to computer to pull photos direct from unit, no need to remove the 32gb micro SD that came installed.

I needed to do a boroscope check on a Rotax 912 engine. This has very small heads on it with very little space so I needed something with the ability to focus closely. The NTS500 with the three different lenses helped to see inside the cylinder at the different parts with decent image quality. The image captures do show some of the softness in the images but getting them at the right focal length does capture some good details. The lights do help with getting color information to tell what is happening with the surfaces. I bought the unit with the longer scope so that I could use for other projects. This does make it a little more difficult to work with if you have to turn it around to look around something, but that was my choice to do so. The interface was easy enough to work with. I was able to connect it a Mac using the USB cable that it came with and was able to immediately download pictures without issue. I didn't take any video so can't comment on that but I don't expect it to be drastically different than the images. This is my first boroscope, so I don't have a comparison, but considering the tight area I was working with the images were great for my needs.

My son and I spent 8 hours trying to track down a drainage clog that had been moving around for about a month and this camera never needed to be recharged. Our plumbing is over 70 years old with lots of buildup on the walls. Because of the rigidity of the flex cable, we were able to rotate the camera and line to avoid scraping the walls through most of our feed. And on the occasion that we did fail to keep it off the wall, being waterproof, we were able to flush the pipe to clear the camera lens each time it scraped the wall and got covered with muck. Not knowing how many pipes tied in to the pipe we were videoing, the two side cameras were a great benefit. The three light brightness modes also proved to be handy in identifying different contents in the pipe. Overall, this borescope is a great purchase and invaluable tool for anyone that needs to camera plumbing.

Although there are a number of cheaper products on the market, I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality and usability of this product for the slightly higher price point. This is an indispensable tool for finding engine or mechanical leaks and for getting behind the walls for household projects before the demo work begins. Having the third lens is a blessing so as not to have to keep twisting the cable to get the side view.

Purchased this for use in my motorhome to examine the insides of the drain pipes, wiring inside walls and other areas that are otherwise inaccessable. It works flawlessly. The camera positions allow for good orientation forward, to the sides, and back and the monitor is large and clear. The camera cable is stiff but works well unless you want to maneuver around tight bends.There are many other applications around the home/auto/motorhome where actually being able to see the inside of something that would otherwise be out of sight is necessary. It's worth every penny.

I purchased this to view a leaking pipe behind a wall and the picture quality on all 3 cameras was great. The video record and pictures both worked well. Great picture and great angles

Decent for the price. Not commercial grade, but picture quality is good and operates as advertised. Multi cameras allowing different view angle is great.
