Review: Best I’ve Tried!! - After my most recent blow dryer quit on me a month after my warranty expired, I did major research on a new brand. I paid a good amount for my last dryer and was NOT happy it didn’t last but a year and a month, used biweekly for 15 min at a time. I knew I needed a new brand so the hunt began. I did quite a bit of research as I believe good quality hot tools means healthy hair. It was between this and a Dyson. I chose this dryer as I was not thrilled with the button placement on the Dyson. I saw results immediately and even after two uses, my hair dresser (who I see regularly) commented on my hair. The only thing that I changed was my dryer. First- this dryer makes round brushing the easiest I have ever done. So much so that I haven’t used my round brush blow dryer that was my go to for blowouts. This dryer is light so I have zero issues with the weight. The size it perfect making it super easy to round brush my long hair that reaches the middle of my back. The buttons are in the perfect spot and easy to use. The nozzles are on tight so no problem with them falling off during blow drying. This comes with two nozzles. A larger one to use for the initial blow dry and the smaller one to use as you round brush towards the end of the drying. I recommend to use both. This makes my drying quick and easy and leave the hair smooth since you can direct the air flow in the proper direction (down the hair shaft) through the entire blowout process. The cord is long so I can plug it into any outlet in my bathroom and stand in the spot I always do. The cord is tangle free which is important to me. The cool shot is a button you click on and off so no more holding the button down as you use cool air. The softness and shine is noticeable to not only you but others as well. This blow dryer is hands down the best I have used, and I have tried many. I take great care of my hair and this dryer took it to another level. Hands down I would recommend this dryer to others. Review: You Get What You Pay For - Okay, so for a long time I thought people who buy hair dryers for this price are crazy; HOWEVER, I noticed after a while that my hair got severely damaged after using my old one. I kept having to snip off ends every two weeks, and I was annoyed by the hindered hair growth because of that. Each time I blow-dried my hair, I smelled this awful burnt hair type of smell, which would linger, too, even after my hair was dry. My husband was a sweetheart and decided to end my misery and get me this one. Here is what I have noticed, with full honesty: 1. The dryer does not smell. It was really strange that as I was drying my hair, no suspicious burnt hair smell came up. 2. It dries hair pretty quickly on the highest heat setting; it took me about 8 minutes to dry shoulder-length hair to about 90% dry. 3. It reduces frizz VERY impressively; I have very damaged hair, but it smoothed it out so gorgeously that I felt like I had new hair. I didn't even use frizz-reducing products! 4. The cool shot button works great. It really leaves the strands silky smooth. 5. The dryer seems to be locking in moisture; for damaged hair, this is salvation. My hair didn't get flat or course to the touch after several hours. 24 hours later, and everything still looks great. 6. The air flow seems to be soft. I don't know how to describe it. It's powerful, yet it feels so gentle for the hair that you don't feel like you're actually using a hair dryer. I know that this dryer is expensive, but you get what you pay for. This is an excellent product that will allow you to grow your hair healthily, without burning those strands. I highly recommend it.

Was a Pricey Purchase But Worth It
Always bought inexpensive Conair blow dryers and thought they were good enough. When my latest Conair dryer died, my hair dresser recommended a T3. I balked at the price, but decided to take the plunge and am I glad. Not only does it dry my hair faster, but dries it without frizz. The digital controls and cool shot are convenient.

What's smooth hair worth to you?
Okay, so let me preface this review by saying that I am NOT a big consumer in the beauty industry. I see words like "ion generator" and my eyes glaze over, because I have two post-grad degrees in the sciences, and am impervious to the fake science-y sounding claims that companies use to sell product. That said, in late 2020 I found myself with short, untamable hair after I let my stylist hack off WAY too much when I finally got in for a cut (assuming I was in for another long wait thanks to COVID). My cheap but serviceable dryer seemed to be frying it on the regular, and I had to apply MORE heat in the form of curling iron and/or straightener to get a head of hair I'd want to leave the house (or hop on Zoom) with. My usual taming products weren't helping much. This was extra frustrating because right after she cut it (and blew it out), it had seemed fresher and healthier than it has in years. I honed in on the blow dryer as the primary source of my frizz woes (for reference, I have pretty thick, medium-textured hair. Won't curl except in very specific climatic conditions, but is naturally wavy to frizzy, humidity and product dependent). I honestly didn't do a TON of research, because who's got that kind of time? But I did read a bunch of reviews on here, a couple Strategist articles, and decided to give the T3 Cura a go while it was on sale, figuring if I was proved right that money can't give you better hair, I could it return it--no harm no foul. First impressions: as some others have noted, it looks like cheap, glossy plastic. If I wasn't programmed by the rose gold accents and seeing T3 on a dozen IG/style blogs, I'd have thought it was from Walmart. Definitely expected it to look classier. But looks aren't everything! Determined to give it the exact same shake my normal dryer gets, I first just blew my hair dry the quick and dirty way: head flipped, giving it the business all over. Performance: it's hella fast, even on on the lowest heat setting, and WAY less noisy (I wouldn't have said my old dryer's sound level annoyed me, but by comparison? it really, really did). While not lightweight, it's easy to hold and comfortable in the hand. I didn't have any problems with the buttons as some reviewers have. But the machine def does not turn off when I set it down, which I...thought was a feature? Oh well. The cold button was VERY easy to hit, and not having to hold it down meant I could easily give my whole head a cool blast at the very end, which I loved. Appearance: Things like speed and noise are really secondary to the main issue of how my hair looked after getting blasted with it. And honestly? Pretty dang good. No other heat tools necessary for public exposure/a decent selfie. Much smoother, way less frizz (and oh yeah, my neck wasn't sweating by the time it was dry--fun bonus!). It's got good movement, and I can see how, with a little extra round brush/sectioning effort, it could look great. Was it a salon-like blowout? No, because I did not magically become a professionally trained stylist when I picked it up, and I blew it dry in the laziest way possible. Do I *feel* a little fancier, lolling around the house sporting pretty smooth hair without having to fudge with heat tools and styling? I AM NOT ASHAMED TO SAY THAT I DO. In sum: the question now is whether these improvements are worth $180 (or $235 if you don't catch it on sale). It's a giant indulgence which would be worth it for my hair health and my ego in the long run if the dryer lasts . . . but I have the niggling fear, based on several reviews here, that it may not. And while the claim is a 2-year warranty, given how product warranties sometimes work on Amazon (i.e. they don't), it could end up being an exorbitant price for a short-term product. So, I'm still making up my mind. And enjoying some decent hair while I do.

Best blow dryer I have ever had in my life!!!
I have thick, curly hair that anyone with curly, wavy hair knows is so hard to care for. All blowdryers say "no frizz", etc. NOT so. This one is exactly ... exactly as advertised. AND, there is no frizz because it does not damage my hair. I don't know how this can be except that obviously "ionic" and "tourmaline" have actually meaning. I have spent so much money on less expensive or expensive "name" brands like Solano and Eicheim. Always Always I have been disappointed and figured what I'm looking for just does not exist. Also not so! And, the fact that it is beautiful looking and lightweight is an added bonus. The only thing I struggle with thus far, is not allowing my thumb to be near the cold shot button as I'm blowdrying. Because for some reason, if I press it by mistake I cannot get the hot air back and have to reset it. I've been too lazy to re-read the directions so I may get the solution there. Or, I can train myself. The other buttons are placed in a spot that does not interfere with my blowdrying which is not the case with, especially Elcheim, and why I never got one again. So, I highly, highly recommend this one and it is worth the investment and I suspect It will last a long time and save me money!!

Love!
The best hairdryer I’ve ever used, by far! It didn’t cut my dying time by a lot, definitely some, but my hair was the softest and smoothest it’s ever been just from drying it. I rough dried it about 80%, then used the nozzle and a brush to smooth it. It’s normally frizzy after drying it and I always have to straighten or curl it but I don’t need to with this. Very happy!!

Absolute Junk! Don’t waste your money!
I thought I would “treat” myself and splurge on this hair dryer. I’ve only had it for 7 months and the fan burned out and smelled like it was going to catch on fire. The return window is only one month after you order it, so now I’m out $180 on a broken hair dryer and need a new one. I’ve had a few hair dryers in my life, all under $50, and none of them have lasted less than 5 years. I only dry my hair about every three days, and otherwise it just sits in a drawer undisturbed. This was such a waste of money. Even prior to it breaking, I feel like it worked the exact same as any less expensive hair dryer I ever had. It didn’t dry my hair any faster or nicer. I also bought their $30 round brush and $80 straightener, and I would say they work the exact same as their less expensive counterparts. I never leave reviews, because I don’t believe in wasting my life’s minutes, but I felt it was worth it this time to help out anyone who might be about to “treat” themself with this piece of garbage.

Updated 8/7/2020 As good as my 15 year old T3 that finally gave up the ghost!!
I bought this to replace my old beloved T3 that finally gave up the ghost after 15 years. It still has the same power and dries my hair very fast. It also has a couple of new features that i like, especially the three levels of heat and the cold that stays on without having to hold it down. Great improvements!! 8/7/2020 update - I wanted to update this now that I have used it for about 9 months. I still love it, but I find it is 1) heavier than my old T3 so my arm gets tired faster, and 2) while it has the same power, it doesn't dry my hair as fast. When I first read about the T3 hair dryers back in the day, the big thing that stood out for me was that it was the tourmaline in the dryer that allowed it to dry your hair so much faster without frizzing it. So I wonder if they have decreased the amount of tourmaline in the new dryers.
