Does a great job for the price! Used on a few plane rides and never had any rips or tears. The material is sturdy enough. Easy to carry through airport. Was concerned when bought due to low price but I only needed it for a few trips. Worked great and have had no issues so far!

Even with the constant bagging and un-bagging (TSA, arrival at the gate, disembarking the plane, etc.) this was hands-down the easiest way for us to transport our car seat through the airport. I had to run across SLC airport with this thing on my back and our stroller in my arms, and still made it to our connecting flight within our 10-minute window. I can't imagine how hectic our vacation would have been without it. We bought an extra seat for our toddler, so we brought the car seat with us on the flight and didn't check I, so I can't attest to how well it holds up through baggage handling. The straps all seem pretty durable, though the backpack straps did leave bruises on my shoulders until I re-adjusted the fit--make sure you do a trial run at home, friends! Re-folding it into the zipper pocket was tricky the first couple of times, but I could do it on my lap in an airline seat by the time of our return flight home (smooth, smooth, fold, fold, fold, tuck, tuck, roll roll roll, squash, zip, done). The carrying strap used when the bag is zipped into the pouch is long enough that a luggage tag attached to it can still stick out of the drawstring hole at the top when it's fully unfolded and has a car seat inside.

Every once in a while you buy something and you're just astonished at how well it works, the simplicity, and value. This is one of those products. Note I purchased this on my own and have received nothing in exchange for this review. We were moving cross country and taking trips to house hunt, see the area, etc. We wanted out 3.5 year old to come with us and the last time I had to carry his car seat (Evenflo Tribute LX), despite being one of the lightest car seats on the market, was a giant pain in the ass. Decided to try the VolkGo and gate check his seat. This bag is (as far as the 4 times I've had to use it) is very well made, it's big enough to fit the Evenflo, it folds into itself into a nice small pouch, the shoulder straps are padded and comfortable, and it closes up nicely. You can see the other review photos that it'll turn dad into a quasimodo hump on steroids. Just a note, you will sweat with this on your back. It's nylon or some other type of synthetic and you will get warm with this thing. Also, be aware that your back is huge, I must've apologized to 20 different people after hitting them with the car seat. This is a great buy and does its job well.

Good enough! Keeps the dirty away and has lots of handles for holding. Holds up decently well over time, but of course will eventually need to be replaced if you travel frequently (due to airline wear and tear).

I originally bought our first Volkgo Travel Bag over 1 year ago as we were getting ready to travel with our infant son for the first time. His infant car seat and base fit perfectly fine. We checked the car seat at check-in and it seemed easy to tote the bag from the car over our shoulders. However, when we reached our destination, we realized there was a hole at the bottom of the bag. We reached out to the seller when we got home and they sent us a new bag to replace the torn one. I assumed it was possibly a sharp edge the base of the infant car seat and assumed it was just bad luck and poor handling by the airline. We have not traveled since receiving the new one until last week. I got the new bag out but this time loaded our toddler car seat into the bag. We have the Evenflo EveryStage car seat and it was a tight fit. The top of the car seat was not completely covered by the hole at the top of the bag. Again, we checked the bag at check-in and upon our arrival at our destination, found an even larger hole in the new bag than the first. I have included pictures of both bags with both holes. The first bag tear is about 3.5 inches and the second bag tear is about 9.5 inches. I never write negative reviews for products, but I have to honestly say these bags are not durable especially when large tears occur using brand new bags on 2 different car seats on their first leg of travel. I know the handling of airlines is not great but I have to trust that the bag I put my baby's car seat will keep it clean and safe for him to be in when we get to where we're going. I will likely have to try a different brand that is more durable for future travel.

We used the VOLKGO Car Seat Travel Bag on our recent Italy trip, and it was a total game-changer! The bag is durable, fits the car seat perfectly, and made traveling through airports so much easier because of the handle on the bag. I loved how it kept our seat protected from dirt and scratches while giving us peace of mind that the bag won’t fall apart. The airline agents have ripped our car seat bags before (other brand) so having a durable bag was high on our must have list. Highly recommend for any parent who wants to throughly protect any car seat.

Do not buy this bag! I would give it zero stars if I could. Extremely flimsy, very thin material and poor stitching. The bottom of it ripped open after the first use. I genuinely didn’t think it would make it to our return flight. I had to layer blankets over the hole to try and keep the car seat in. This was used on our infant car seat btw, not a bigger toddler seat. No way could this bag handle a bigger car seat with an isofix base. Shocking product, not fit for purpose at all!

Great product to help protect your expensive baby items when travelling. worked well

The bag "looks" good quality. However after the first trip using it the plastic cord/string lock broke. I kept using it, tying a knot in the string when checking it. Two trips later and the bag itself was ripped. I am not sure if I was unlucky or what happened. I am still giving 5 stars because I contacted their customer care and they promptly took care of it.
